I haven’t been to tacoma in a minute, but the smells came from rendering plants and paper mills. The rendering plants were the worst, all that burnt animal skin and fur from random ass animals that the city could find to turn into dog food… Tacoma reeks bro, Seattle is nothing compared to that

Crime is a big con. Tacoma overall is dangerous. You have to drive past bad areas all the time to get anywhere. Shootings are common overall. Ive lived in seattle for 20+ years and aleays heard tacoma is bad, and knew people that moved to tacoma, and i have been to tacoma many times. At night its pretty dangerous.

It's really not so much the rain that I dislike about Tacoma is the 6 months of depressing gloom with heavy dark clouds week after week after week. We MUST go to Mexico at least once maybe twice between Halloween and Memorial Day

It’s definitely an adjustment if someone is moving from a state where it’s sunnier. I was at Ruston the other day and was glad to see how the sun has brightened everyone’s mood 😂

A/C is slowly becoming a necessity. I’ve been seeing new builds and renovations that add A/C to battle the heat we’re getting during the summers 😅

I live in an armpit of a city too. Chicken capital apparently. If there’s a chicken truck, I try to get ahead as much as I can. 🥲Didn’t know about it till I moved here two years ago 😅

Yeah haha, I’m testing out new equipment and recorded horizontally. I’ll be doing two separate recordings in the future for vertical and horizontal 😅 look forward to the coming weeks for better videos

Been living in Seattle for almost 10 years now. It’s great as long as you don’t mind being occasionally hassled by the homeless and the junkies 🙃 EDIT: Make sure to check out the Pike Market during business hours (8:30a-5:30p) it’s always busy and always fun
