I love how this new series of an Edith Wharton novel has sparked so much interest in the story of Nan. And they have done a beautiful job of Theo.... but this story is of Nan, an independent women who does not belong as an object of British aristocracy. Theo appears wonderful, but his character wants an object and not an independent women. This makes Guy's character so wonderful.... he has always wanted an equal. This series makes Theo seem so wonderful. My hope is that many will purchase the novel and get to know Edith Wharton's writing and explore more of her characters. I do love seeing a fresh take on the story:)

pls why do I love these two so much 😭 I enjoy to see some drama, spiciness and sexual tension the other couples might have as well, but these two just hit different.

I am watching this again because I love their relationship so much. I know John is not conventionally handsom persay (remember I said conventionally, that means he is handsome but yeah). And I think they have casted someone like him so that while we get attached and we most certainly will grieve his death and feel francesca's loss we won't get extremely attached to him

Besides Francesca, anyone notice the three signs that a Bridgerton has finally found their love match? Sign #1: They dream/daydream about them. Sign #2: When they are around their love match, there's a moment where the love match does something seemly innocent like licking a spoon or stepping over a log and showing some thigh, that makes them slightly befuddled. Sign #3: The love match understands or gets along particularly well with one of the other siblings (Simon & Anthony- first born sons, Kate & Eloise- outspoken & intelligent, Penelope & Francesca- the sibling who's different than their other siblings). I'm curious to see which sibling John gets along with if he does interact with any of the other siblings. My hunch is it will be Benedict and art will be their commonality.

This might sound ridiculous and may be rationalization of my relationship but for years I questioned my relation to my boyfriend. We take endless walks through the forest, without uttering a word. Standing on a hill taking in the horizon, the sun, nature without taking part in deep meaningful conversations. We sit for hours next to each other, everyone occupied by their interest. A few interruptions here and there to show us something or to inquire about the others progress or to chime in a thought or opinion here and there. Our weekends are mostly quiet and uneventful and yet I crave his presence once he's gone home... For years I wondered if we're handling romance right. I saw couples babbling on and on, never tiring about the others voice and seemingly never longing for silence. I doubted myself but this - amongst others - depiction of a relationship showed me that romance and love don't necessarily need a lot of words to resonate loudly. One's closeness can be enjoyed in silence. Romance isn't all about grand gestures and enviable courtship. Romance is about resonating in the needs of your significant other.

I love this type of soft chemistry than whatever lustful chemistry was between kanthony and polin lol. This one feels more meaningful in terms of feelings of love. Also Benedict and Eloise are my fav character (i don't even watch bridgerton but i still like them from all the clips that I've watched) so I'm kinda interested in francesca,eloise and ben's story even tho i know fran's story is heartbreaking 😭😭

OMG they gave John and Francesca a story. These moments will be more poignant when Francesca's story will really unfold 😭.... I think next season should really be Benedict's story, the timeframe is already too late and they are part of the story of Eloise and Sir Phillip. I mean if we follow the timeframe of the books, it's Daphne, Anthony, Benedict, first part of Francesca, Colin, second part of Francesca, Eloise, Hyacinth then Gregory
