@@purranormalpursuits so a winter or 2 ago, i rounded the corner on a small bridge and hit the side of road kill. small clump of something... just as the heater was warming up the inside... then it hit me... it was a flat skunk.. had to roll down the windows. i was so mad took way to long for that smell to leave. even in winter.

@@sspaceforce Oof yah, it’s brutal. I’ve had one spray while on the porch below my upstairs bedroom window and my eyes and nose were burning. It was physically painful and nauseating, even once the window was closed. That’s why when I saw these two there was no way I was going to risk them spraying me, even though I was a block away from the house. Sorry you’ve gotten skunked before too!

@@purranormalpursuits oh yea, even while not directly they are frequent road kill around here if your not careful. and worse off some folks driving through those areas you simply breath it in and water eyes, tasted it on your tongue.. basicly if you go through it ONCE you never forget. We had a neighbor who threw fireworks inside a little Water tunnel under his driveway. And even though he was on the other side of the street OUR AC unit is directly across the street from that. and for months we would get this ... stink in the house. I don't know if that's because it was sucked in through the windows, door or from the ac unit but NOTHING ever helped untill it just went away on it's own. No one was happy he chose to harrase a family of skunks.
