Awesome Video! Really interesting with the combos, what is it about adding protein such as the tuna and peanut butter? Is to make you feel more full and to just make it more nutritional?

Being early to a Ben Jones video is like discovering a secluded mini heaven on Earth and being grateful for it while waiting for more people to find it so everyone can appreciate it. I've been watching for a WHILE now and I can say the videos just keep getting better and better. Thank you for sharing part of your life with us, and thank you for the opportunity of growing alongside you! Keep up the good work Ben, it's easy to see how much you love making these videos and that love makes it so easy for others to be motivated. Hoping everything goes well for you :) PS : Greek yogurt with fruits is also my favorite

Hey Ben, im not sure if you'll find this advice useful. I was in construction and I think we are quite similar, albeit a few years apart. A quick suggestion that significantly improved my quality of life and income. Keep at the content, I reckon itll make a meaningful difference eventually. But dont put all your eggs in one basket. I used to work in McDonalds and some people there were on the 'grindset'. I think now about how some of those people still there are working harder than I do in my 9-5. I left and persued construction where I was working just as hard but earned significantly more. While I was in construction I took the time to try to automate as much of my work as possible with simple code scripts (might be different for you I was a qs not site manager). Eventually the idea came to me that I could apply the same logic to construction as I did my old maccies colleagues. Is there somewhere I could be working just as hard but earning significantly more. When I went to my first software engineering junior role interview they were suprised I could even make eye contact. As you say working in construction you have to get good at talking to people and being assertive. When I explained the x mil projects I was responsible for I had authority. They werent very interested in the little bits of code id done. The sell was "Ive got exceptionally good at this valuable role in construction, im young and want to do the same in your company.". This put me infront of CS graduates and people with actual experience because people who put in the time (and communicate it properly) stand out. I think you're that kind of guy Ben. The jr position I applied for paid significantly higher than my qs job. Every year ive had pay rises that would have taken me 5 years to get in construction. I wfh, I strictly work 8hrs a day, its an industry thats fast growing and young so the people around me have the same interests and thought processes as you. I remember what it was like being first on site and last to leave with an hour drive either side. I wouldnt trade the job I have now for anything and honestly I would have taken a pay cut to get where I am now. I think senior software engineers in their late 20s on six figures would look at me the same way I looked back at maccies. Im not saying drop what you're doing for software :D Im just saying that if you havent considered it, look around at high demand, fast promotion industries. You might find yourself getting a job easier than you would expect ahead of other people you'd think are more qualified.

Ben, I normally don't post comments and normally hide them away, but I gotta say your list of "things you've learned" really inspired me. It surprises me that you have this much self-introspection and drive at 20 and can tell you'll do great things in the future. I always look forward to your videos, keep them up mate :)
