Day 7 post op. When i came out of OT, I didn't feel anything. I was so happy thinking man it doesn't hurt but then the Anaesthesia wore off and OH BOY!! The journey began and i had no idea what im getting myself into. I had grade 3 internal hems with 2 external chronic fissures. Went for stapled haemorrhoidectomy for the internal one and the external ones were cut through scalpel and stiched (worst part) First poop after 3 days, I screamed like a baby and bawled my eyes out. I've been taking laxatives and eating soft food but I poop like 3 times a day which hurts the same everytime. My gut us having a hard time adjusting to the fibre. Cherry on top, got periods and it's getting more complicated. I change oads every 2 hours to prevent injections and my stitches have dissolved, i see an open wound (a deep cut without the upper skin). Hoping for the best. 😔

Hello my dear, I have been following you for a short time. Can I ask you about the operation to remove hemorrhoids? Is it really effective and are you satisfied with the result now, especially since you had it done for a long time? I hope you can answer me because I have a hemorrhoid operation next Thursday and I am very afraid.

So I’m almost 4 weeks post-op and I feel like my hemorrhoids are already back. Passing stool is hard even though I drink 2.5 liters of water and consume lots of fiber every day. I’m really depressed about this… All this pain just for them to come back.

Focus on diaphram and breathing and ur core... even with BM u focus on ur expanding ur lungs and diaphragm , in and out and do that instead if strain ir focusing on ur bum, u will relax and things will come easier and when u expand and its like ur belly opens up and it mives things along and especially with pain u focus on even breathing and expand the diaphragm instead of the pain. I had to take pt for endometriosis and abdominal adhesions and bowel obstruction and she taught me some tricks and it helps.

Hello! Good afternoon from South Florida! I am seriously considering doing a hemorrhoidectomy! I have both internal and external. I noticed I get bleeding more often now. I saw a Dr that said he could do the surgery. I am just worried about having to do the enema and not knowing if it’s done right! And I’m worried about the recovery time as I am a toddler teacher. I use Miralax daily so hopefully passing poop after won’t be too bad! I have recently purchased a bidet and it works wonders for the wiping! I use prep h every night( I forgot to last night)

I'm worried about that I have endometriosis and have 2 slow spots in my intestines and on my ureters I get fluid backed up in my kidneys on occasion usually with inflammation in my lower regions... my belly is big until I go pee, I had hydronephrosis b4. I have to have posture the pushes the area at bottom of ribs forward giving me more room. I'll follow up with doctor. I can tell if it's my kidney draining or my bladder.... think some issue too is my blood sugar is up too so we r watching it over few months

Been suffering since 1989. Been at level 3 and 4 for the past 15 years and right now, the pain is about the same as before only it would last a few days. This one is non stop until it will be over. My poor wife doesn't know what to do when I hit the 10/10 pain threshold. We are in this together as we used to say the "asshole" used to rule the house. Nobody can say what pain it is unless they have gone through. As a retired Veteran, I have had many surgeries to make me better but this one, take the win. Even tax pains aren't as bad. You'll curse cause you have to pay them but it is over. Not this shit.

Thank you so much for your video. ❤ Did you remove three hemorrhoids at the same time? Have you had any trouble with anal stenosis after the surgery? I recently removed two large hemorrhoids, and I’m afraid I might got it. It’s been almost four weeks, and it’s very hard for me to pass stool. Never had that trouble before. 😢

Thank you for your post. Wish I saw it before my surgery. I was told that it was the most painful surgery you can have. It was! I went to the Dr and had one lanced, at month later I developed 2 very large and painful hemorrhoids. Saw the Dr immediately and was scheduled for surgery the next day. 2 things I did after surgery was, use a hair dryer to dry my butt area off after a shower ( set on cool) And when I had a BM ( after the first one that was extremely painful, I had my next BM with my butt in the sitz bath. Sounds gross but it was less painful. At that point I didn’t care what I had to do as long as I wasn’t screaming and crying. Took a long time to heal. Over a month. I’m fine and thankful they are gone and no more pain. Bless you for sharing. People need to know how to deal with this kind of surgery. Best to you. God bless.

Ms. Alejandra Rodriquez, I myself started with blood Oct 30th, 2019. It started regularly then it stopped and became every 2 to 3 months of blood and then coming out every time I went to the toilet. March 26th, 2024 colonoscopy, doctor found hemorrhoids. Since I was told surgery will be need, I had been doing research and video watching. I now know that I haven't been coming out when I go, the hemorrhoid slips out. I have seen different videos on different procedures on removing hemorrhoids but I know that they all hurt afterwards. I am dreading the procedure coming May 1st. They are giving me 4 weeks off from work. I just hope I'll be able to bare the pain until I am all healed up. Like everyone else, I know that I must change my diet. It too will be a difficult journey. At 39, it is time to do so. Much love to you and everyone else who had the surgery and posted comments. ❤

@@bake4 hi there. May 29th. I'm all good. Going back to work May 30th. It actually wasn't bad. Pain was manageable even without pain meds. I tried not to rely on the pills because it was opioid pain medication. I made it and glad I don't have to worry about blood or my hemorrhoid popping out every time I go 💩. Only thing that's uncomfortable is trying not to clench your ass. Especially since they pack you with gauze. 😫 I only had 1 though. I hope all goes well for you.

I’m about a month out from my surgery and it really is a surgery that makes you think long and hard about how to never get them again. The best thing to do is keep the stools soft as possible for the rest of one’s life. I can tell you all that make sure you keep the area clean after every number 2 and this is done with a good shower head that can separate from the main shower or take some sit baths you’ll get through it but it does hurt for a few weeks God Bless you all.

@AleOmalley Thanks for the video. I am at day 8 post-op today. I had an external hemorrhoidectomy. Yep, the doctor was accurate when he said the surgery will be very painful. Long story short, thanks for the video, the tips and info was helpful to me. On a side note, I also deal with IBS. I've tried eliminating all types of foods and slowly adding back in, but I haven't figured out the triggers yet. IBS is annoying and when it's bad it has a definite impact on quality of life. Have you figured out anything helpful for your IBS?

Hi Brian! I just had a flare up myself it was with a lot of acid actually and alcohol! I don’t drink much to begin with but I feel it irritated when I do and also chocolate too! I strongly recommend writing down what you eat and testing it and noting what hurts… I know it’s uncomfortable but it DOES help and that way you can either risk it per say or you know to avoid it! Every once in a while though, do it! Unless it hurts terribly of course but don’t forget to enjoy life, it’s fun moments and yummy foods too!! 🙏🏼❤️
