That is not a gimbal. A gimbal by definition is a device that can have different degrees of freedom while also maintaining the balance or equilibrium of the object’s weight that it supports. You are demonstrating no better than a ball head that is detachable. If you look harder you see him straining his hands to keep the weight stable. False advertising calling it a gimbal. Go buy a Wimberely mh-100 or better yet a Leo photo mpg-1. These are the lightest monopod heads that perform like a gimbal.

Colin, when you underexpose to get a nice dark sky, do you add the same amount of exposure compensation to your flash TTL settings, or am I missing something here? I don't shoot TTL very often, so I'm a bit rusty/vague about it.
