I found the file for the bottom base and drawer without drawer slides. The stackable base has drawer slides, but I can't find the drawer with drawer slides. this system is exactly what I need so any help would be greatly appreciated. Great work and thank you.

This is fantastic, thank you! I've been building out a "gridfinity" based system for a lot of my workspaces, and it's great for organizing horizontal surfaces, but I find that when I have a surface that's deeper than a few grid cells I mostly only end up using the front. And the space in the back goes to waste. Your system seems great at organizing vertical space, and so I'm curious to try it out both on its own and with (like, behind) some of the gridfinity stuff I've been building already. Great project!

@punkidd00 The M200 was my first printer also. I just recently got a P1S and a K1 Max. I still have the original CR-10, 2 CR-10 S4's, and Korbra 2 Neo and 6 Resin Printers. I like the P1S, just wish it had a bigger print volume. The jury is still out on the K1 Max. Lol. I almost got an M300.

Thanks indeed Jared! Question: How many times do you need to replace condensers water adding new ice, during the distill process of a couple of IPA galoons?How do you control that really the IPA outlet is just condensed IPA and not steam, to take the decision of replacing warm water by ice in the condenser?
@punkidd0011 ай бұрын
The short answer... TOO often. In one 8-hour day at the office, I went through 3 bags of ice just to get about 3/4 gallon (very dirty IPA, cleaner goes faster). I did end up connecting a 5-gallon bucket with a fish tank pump, but even that was pretty inconvenient having to top it off with ice every couple of hours. What I ultimately ended up doing was attaching a fish tank chiller to the bucket and that is working GREAT. I used this one amzn.to/4a9vjRf, but I see those are no longer available. If you go that route just make sure to get one with a compressor. The fan-based heat exchangers won't work so well on a hot day. It wasn't cheap, but it's SO MUCH nicer just letting it run all day without having to change out the ice. I figure at the rate I was going through ice it will pay for itself EVENTUALLY, and it's just so much more convenient anyway it's worth it to me :-) I really need to do a follow-up video. I got everything installed onto a small cart now and I'm super happy with the setup, but I have several tips to offer (like insulating the chiller hoses so water doesn't condense and make puddles all over the place).
@mikelaizpurua420811 ай бұрын
Thanks again Jared! Really helpful info! I really was wondering how that would work without a kind of external cooler... With the current setup you also distill around 3/4 gallon every 8 hours? Looking forward to watch your final setup. Sure it is worth while :-) @@punkidd00

I have ~8 jugs now that are my "dirty" jugs. I put dirty IPA in those for curing and filtering before going into the still (and actually I've been lazy and skipped the filtering more than once in exchange for more sludge at the end). I swish and rinse my dirty jugs with distilled IPA a bit, but they never get totally clean. When they get too bad I use them for the leftover sludge from the still and then dispose of them with the city. I try to keep my clean distilled IPA in bottles that have only ever had clean IPA in them.

It's a great model, I'll give you that :) will I need to print the landing leg actuators and the grid fins in a more flexible filament than standard PLA? And how long is it?
@punkidd00 Жыл бұрын
I can't say for sure. I never use PLA. It deforms too easily. Even at room temp it will change shape over the course of a few years. I only ever use ABS in my printers.

Hey Jared! Beautiful launch there. How was the recovery? I think I am going to go for my Level one with your design. I was starting out with a 4" airframe but am running into issues so it'll probably be with the 3" mailing tube of which, at this writing I have maybe a dozen of. I'll catch up with results here and let you know.
@punkidd003 жыл бұрын
No issues. I flew that airframe a few times. I shredded the 3D printed fins when I flew an I-600 for the second time. I probably should have swapped out the cracked fins after the 1st hard landing. Live and learn. My next version used the SAME 3D PRINTED PARTS, but I rolled a 3" carbon fiber airframe, laminated the fins in CF, and laminated the inside of the nose code with CF as well. We flew that one 3 or 4 times on the I-600 w/o issue.... until the flight computer didn't arm on the last flight and it lawn darted into a cornfield. Never did find it :/ It's a fun platform. Good luck!
