Thank you for editing and posting these videos. It would be nice if some of the clips were longer to show the context of what is happening. At 10:52 there was an unexpected lead change clip that was too short to understand what happened.

The context is that San Diego didn't get their jib going at the leeward mark so the lead change was foreshadowed. Then the lead change happened at 10:51. With a menu of over 100 races it's hard to show everything! Thanks for you comment.

hey, these are nicely produced, And the commentary is perfect. I just got turned onto this had no idea this video seriesexisted. Enjoy seeing Fleet one out there having fun when it’s finally blowing in Annapolis.

We get every breeze condition here in Annapolis! It has been evening storms that cause cancellations more than lack of wind here this season. And, so ya know, we only filmed 5 Thursdays even though there were many more than actually transpired. If you want to see EVERY week filmed and produced, make sure the host and sponsors know it!

Nice speech from the winner. Actually everything was terrific. This kind of event needs more coverage. Not too much of course. I have been to Lake Geneva and Chicago but am sorry I was not told of such a beautiful local attraction.

I have what may be? the last sextant used on the America. She was hauled out in 1902 to be laid up in Annapolis; the sextant I have is in a mahogany case with a german silver plate on the front, engraved with a line drawing of the vessel, and “America, James Waters, Master, 1902”. My Dad was a sea scout leader just before WWII and was looking for a sextant to teach his scouts elements of celestial navigation. Someone sold him this sextant for $10.00. Pretty cool artifact!

I just moved back to MD after 35 years and loving country life on the eastern shore where I plan to sail a Norwalk islands sharpie 31. I grew up in Annapolis and used to enjoy racing on a Pearson Vanguard named. Always fun racing.

*VG for so many AYC racers incl. their young ones on their boats, that's rarely seen in some clubs. AYC must be a kid-friendly club, we're guessing. *Things we love about tp2tv and their Wed. Night AYC coverage: -AL's great comments, as in: "... everyone luffing up like Lasers ..." (!). "... battle of the wind shadows ..." , so many quotes in each race -Editing for nice long takes of many seconds; (---so tired of 1.5 second shots from [other] hyperactive editors who lack your skill---), plus beautiful compositions of boats-water-sky. -Cool music 100% appropriate to sailing competition, love it. Greetings from 9100', Colorado. Lake Dillon. I was an SSA kid so I know a few stories. I think my latest memories had to do with the second famous fire in crabtown. The Viking was NOT a "fullrigged barquentine"! Such ships don't exist - they are either fullriggers or barquentines. Viking happens to be a 4-masted barque.
