Hey Jeremy, awesome, really heplfull. Just one doubt, I'm not able to edit the focus lines once I made them.
@JeremyLord50006 күн бұрын
Yeah it's not obvious it frist... you just have to go to the object tool (inside the operation tool) and that will highlight the focus lines you created and you can then edit the settings without having to recreate another. Took me a while to figure that one out. I shhould probably do an addon video for that hey..

I've tried this multiple times with rasterised text. maybe the type I'm using is too big/bulky for this but my brush doesnt seem to take white space between the text into account? Anyone else have a fix for this I basically create a big rectangle block brush that paints a wide black line but nothing else...

I have a question, when you shade, do you end up doing a rough guesstimate of where they fall? I have the hardest time trying to figure out light source!
@JeremyLord50006 күн бұрын
I try and use reference as much as possible. There are a bunch of tools out there like Poser that'll allow you to do rough 3D mannequins and pick a light source to help you see where the light and shaodws will go. Guessing it is often a losing battle and even if you do get it right, you'll never be sure how you did it or why it's right... :)

I actually find clipstudio ellipse rulers to be astonishingly bad and useless. It doesn`t show the degree of the ellipse, it doesn`t show the minor axis of the ellipse to align it in perspective, so it pretty much has none of the needed functions any ellipse guide has and what you need for technical drawings. Lazy Nezumi is sadly the only answer to that.

You can edit the special ellipse easily. Just (object) select it and you can change it's size freely with handles and move it around. It even has an option to move it along it's axis. Really handy. I actually only use this one instead of the single ellipse tool because of this adjustability. Maybe this movie was made with and older version where this was not possible but currently you can. No need to mess with the transform tool.

Hi, I was wondering if you could explain what canvas size and dpi you use? Every time I ink my drawings, the lines are super pixelated when I zoom in, but yours look very sharp and clear when you zoom in. Am I doing something wrong? For reference, I usually have a canvas size of 3800x4000px with 800-1200dpi.
@JeremyLord50002 жыл бұрын
Hmm, that's quite strange... I usually work from a lower resolution than you do - usually A2 at 300 dpi. You could be using the pencil tool instead of the brush tool? The pencil and brush are under the same icon on your tool bar so it can be easy to mix em up. Otherwise I'm not sure why you'd be getting pixelation at that resolution. :O
