I love that song. Nicely done. Perfect mix of vocals, guitar and piano. I like the crispness of the piano (probably not a music word).
@dougkoempel5304Ай бұрын
Very astute, Joe. Yes, "crispness," "crunchiness" and "sogginess" are all terms that J.S. Bach first coined in 1744 when referring to harpsicord performance technique.

great song! Where the heck was that photo taken? How old were you two whipper snappers? Who took the photo? So many questions!
@dougkoempel5304Ай бұрын
Thanks. Joe. "You Are My Life" is my favorite Memory Brothers' recording. That photo was taken in front of an old, abandoned store in Victory, Wisconsin-along the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River. It would have been in '77, so I would have been 26; and Kevy would have been 23 or 24. Lisa Canfield took the photo. We were scouting out locations for a photo shoot for the jacket of our first album, Yellow River Serenade.

Love that trail. I rode it once all the way to Riceville. The divots are from roots, frost heaving, and subgrade preparation issues. Lylah's Marsh is a really pretty spot. My Mom grew up a little east of Acme and she said that the upper floor was a dance hall, which makes sense. You almost broke that slide, but at least you would have documentation for the lawsuit!
