Your preparation is a knife edge. Do you always prep the knife edge for Zn crowns on pediatric teeth? No shoulder, beveled shoulder, or chamfer? or do you use chamfer for adult teeth? or do you always use knife edge for adult teeth as well?

What type of dental crowns and inlays/ onlays do Dentist’s themselves use for their posterior molars. I had a Dentist show me his yellow high noble gold crown. Dentist’s are no longer trained in conservative gold restorations because of costs and esthetics.

Es cierto, especialmente si se tiene una dentadura funcional y estéticamente “regular” ya que desgastaría innecesariamente los dientes, presentando sensibilidad, periodontitis, e incluso acumulación de restos de comida en el caso de que no se los ajuste correctamente en los dientes.
