I believe SmartRise did the modernization. One of the documents from 2013 on the Texas Elevator Records said something about SmartRise on the brand indication part of the document. FYI, this store was originally Macy's. According to Skyvator/Elevatortimes, this is one of the only 1980's Macy's buildings in the houston area that kept the original elevator when they converted it to Dillard's. Most of the interior of this store remained untouched. The exterior of this store also remained untouched. This elevator and the escalators in this store were installed in 1983.

Ill be honest when I found this elevator it was kind of an odd one because its tucked off in a wierd spot near the security offices
