The screw is way too long and in the wrong place. Any work on our guitars especially on acoustic guitars should be done by luthiers or guitar techs, this is a classic example where you've ended up with two holes that you don't want on your guitar. Over the years I've learned that guitar shops aren't where one should go for any work some are OK but it isn't worth the risk trusting them.

Gonna try this tomorrow with one of my broken fog machines..Hope it works! 🤞🏼
