It's the same place but you chose a different route and daytime than I did for my video and interestingly it becomes quite a different experience :)

The corniche looks as dead as most Dutch promenades. I can clearly see that South African architecture is majority based on the Dutch. It doesn't fit the environment whatsoever. A more Med outlook would do the job.

Capetown has been on my bucket list for decades! I told myself that I have to experience the city and it’s people before I die. And just booked accommodations today for May 2023!!! And I told my friend who lives there…he just couldn’t believe it!! I’m so excited!!
