Nice video. I have two questions: 1. is Eggishorn the best viewpoint for overlooking Aletsch Glacier ? 2. Any easy and safe hiking or walking route with beautiful views going to or starting from the viewpoint as I will bring along my parents who are about 68 years old (although they are healthy) ? thanks !

The best way to view the Aletsch Gletsjer is the eggishorn indeed! if you want to walk alongside the aletsch gletsjer then I advice walking from the cable car station at betmerhorn too fiescheralp via marjelensee and the tunnel. It takes around 4-6 hours (based on how fast you walk and how much you take pauses) we did this a few years ago and it’s super stunning. Especially between betmerhorn and marjelensee because you have consistently views on the gletsjer. It can be a bit busy in high high peak seasons but it doesn’t change the views you get. Also u don’t have to decent or accent a lot. Path is mostly good. Only 1 small part of around 100 meters u had to be careful cause big rocks on the path (at least that was when we were there, I am not sure about the situation now) I hope this helped you.

I also think it’s doable with ur parents. Mostly easy. We go to do that hike again in a few weeks. If you still wanna know I can let you know if the path is still easy.

Hey there. The video is just breathtaking! Do you mind if I ask you just a question? I am planning to visit the place with my drone, however the area is marked as a natural reserve area on the Swiss drone map. So my question is: have you asked for a special permission to fly your drone? Were there other drones flying?

Exactly. This is how X-Boost technology works - it still gives 600W to devices that try to take up to 1.8KW. The key feature is that the power station doesn't turn itself off because of the overload, but just "smartly" cuts the power.

I would credit you with a link back to here in the KZbin description and also in the videos end credits. I should add that I make no money from the music. Thanks John.

Is there anything on the LifePO4 pack limiting current to the 600?
@pinoyswisshiker7119
@pinoyswisshiker7119 3 жыл бұрын
No, the bms on the lifepo4 is up to 200A max. Its the River max limits the current up to 120W max if it senses that you are using 13.8 volts like charging in the car.
@djkewlaid
@djkewlaid 3 жыл бұрын
@@pinoyswisshiker7119 I have a new Delta and trying to figure out if running a cable from my 4S LifePO4 pack to the Delta's XT60 solar input would work in similar fashion as your 600. Paranoid that there would be a surge of current from the LifePO4 battery and frying the charging circuitry.
@pinoyswisshiker7119
@pinoyswisshiker7119 3 жыл бұрын
@@djkewlaid The device will detect if the voltage input is high then it will use the mppt function like from the solar panel. If it detects that the input voltage is like from a car cigarette port like 12V it will limit the current of up to 10amps or 120W. Because car cigarette port are limited to only 10amps max. So the lifepo4 12V pack is ok.
