He stole that design. It's a Lew McFarland Shark 45. SHAME ON YOU!
@rootbeard10 күн бұрын
@@craigwall9536 well just to show your ignorance, Lou first designed the Humbler. When Jetco kitted it they changed the name to Shark. Anyone who knows CL history knows this. The Humbler was a rebuttal to George’s Nobler. Shame on you for accusing Gentlemen Jim of stealing. 😠
@linhearts5 күн бұрын
@@rootbeard I didn’t know that. I have been crediting Lou McFarland for that design forever.
@rootbeard5 күн бұрын
@@linhearts well maybe I did not explain it correctly. Lou did design it. Craig called it a Shark and accused Jim. The Humbler is the original Shark.

So, i have the same issue, hard turning. Question 1- before i use the air and degreaser should i take off the nut on the opposite side for the old grease to come out. I m not sure i want the old grease traveling up through the cable and coming out at the helm. Dont want junk grease to clog or get stuck halfway to the helm. Will this work?

Your pivot tube should have a grease zert for you to pump in marine grease… but you still need your apparatus to clean out the old crud
@rootbeard2 жыл бұрын
Yep it has grease fitting and I can pump some in but did nothing to free the cable. This is the only thing that worked.

UPDATE: yearly maintenance done. I’m no longer using the corrosion preventer as this seems to be more for electric connections. Just use the degreaser and while lithium grease. All CRC marine products.

Hi Ptaylo, how did you get that nut off the tilt tube to hook up that hose? I tried to remove the nut but the whole tube turns? Thanks.
@rootbeard3 жыл бұрын
That nut on my engine is just a plastic “dust cap”. Yours might be different. Just so long as you can get to the pushrod seal and blow the liquid into the unit. Maybe try soaking it with PB blaster and let it sit over night. Good luck.

Why did he insist on punishing his viewers with that disgusting obnoxious annoying music in the background. Really makes it hard to watch. He totes the concept of wanting to help others learn, how the hell can learn anything watching these when you have to listen to two alley cats fighting in the background and him yelling at the camera so he can be heard over that crap. Thumbs down Urtnowski....thumbs down

Hi Paul, Thanks for all the Windy videos. Could you help me save some time and tell me if you know which video has his Cardinal fuselage build? Thanks, Rusty Knowlton
@rootbeard7 жыл бұрын
Rusty K I wish I could tell you but this is like searching home movies LOL. I have tried my best to organize them into play list of builds. I tried to label them as a Windy had them. Also some of the videos are missing for various reasons. I will look and if I stumble across it will let you know.
@rootbeard7 жыл бұрын
Rusty K I will keep looking but on my other channel CL Guy is the Typhoon build. He did most of his fuselages the same way.
@RustyKControl_Line7 жыл бұрын
That's okay, Paul, don't spend any more time on it. Besides, I got so interested watching the Cardinal wing build, I quit looking. It later occurred to me that it's probably not a profile like I'm building anyway, so it wouldn't help. I watched an old one today of you flying a pattern on a Nobler. Good flight. I'm slowly getting there. Two judges(Bob Z. and Wayne Robinson) gave me the Boot after the Triple tree contest, so after 3 long years I'm finally in Advanced. This Cardinal will accompany my flagship wide-nosed Umland F.Twister as I move on. I appreciate all the building videos, Rusty P.S. Feel free to join us on the Monday and Friday video hangouts, we'd love to have you join us. I post a link on SH as soon as I open one. They are also archived in a playlist on Sparky's 'Tube channel. I put most of the ones I host on my own channel too.
