I live 20 minutes away from Alder! They have always been a playoff contender up to the regional finals. The year prior to this game they lost in the finals to Cardinal Mooney. My respect goes out to you guys

I've posted before in big games. And this game was HUGE! A big congrats to Coach Otten and his staff. Not quite like taking down Mooney, but this Versailles team was VERY good. Congratulations, and Go Cavs!

You are obviously a Coldwater fan as evidenced by the clips shown, and that's fine. It was a fun, exciting game to be at, no doubt. I do believe good sportsmanship was shown by both teams. So, that's a plus for both schools. And, as an Archbold fan, knowing the tournament/playoff history of Archbold and Coldwater, when you guys tied it up with something like 1:45 or so to go, my thoughts were "Doggonit, not again. Don't tell me they're going to win in overtime." BUt, Archbold had something different in mind. It was a great game. Archbold made some excellent plays as well that didn''t make your video - but I understand that. Really. Sadly, in games such as this, 1 team goes home sad, 1 team goes home happy. It's just the way it is.

After their big lineman gets hurt in the 2nd quarter, this might be one of Coach Otten's biggest and most improbable wins. Marion Local would go on to win state in division VI, and Coldwater would lose the DV state final on a big play in the last minute of the game. 50/50 was $14,000 give or take, maybe? Unbelievable night!

Nice music track used here. What is it? I have always respected the Coldwater football program and was thrilled when my town's team (Reading Blue Devils) beat the Cavs in the playoffs in 2002 in a thrillfest.

Seems like CHCA can never get past the Coldwater machine like Reading did in 2002.

Ursuline grad here! First off..my sincere condolences. I was at the game today and heard for the first time about Coach Reed. I know what it's like to lose someone close to you. I'm sure he would be proud of you guys give how you started and making it back to another title game. We enjoyed facing you guys again. You didn't give up, nor did you roll over and play dead. You guys have a classy program and a classy coach. Good luck next year, and I wish you all well. God Bless.
