RIP ghost </3 i grew up playing this game, i didnt have any friends in school as a queer autistic kid in a small conservative and religious town, so somehow this fuckin beautiful game with its broken toxic bonkers beautiful community was my only source of human connection. one of my first friends was tyler66 who played this map with me and did an RP on it. they ended up quitting in favor of minecraft, and they were the person who introduced me to minecraft as well. i randomly stumbled upon this video looking for little samples to use as tags for my music collective thing im starting. i got distracted by redlyne's dead games video which surprisingly had a section on BL, and i then went down the nostalgia rabbit hole. fuck, i had no idea what happened to Ghost. this video made me cry. ghost and i didnt talk much but i remember talking to them a few times and they were always super kind. i grew up on your maps ghost. RIP </3

The way this map tells a story... it's called "paradise" but the giant dictator statue implies it's anything but. Until you explore deeper and deeper until you find literal heaven. This map shows more than any other that Blockland maps are truly an art form.

Oh man, I was in this video. I remember way back when map was first being uploaded, GSFGhost opened a server with it to film the trailer. It was a great experience! I have been looking for this video for years. Thank you so much for re-uploading such a great piece of nostalgia.

Back in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 era it was already clear that you shaped a large part of the great map add-ons, GSFGhost. Even if you are not around us anymore, your work that is left behind will always remember the good old days that we had with you. You were the inspiration for me to make my own maps and 3d modelling, because I did believe that Blockland needed more of these city maps with a great environment. Rest in peace Ghost, and hopefully may we meet again.

Woah this brings back memories. GSFGhost was a great content creator for the Blockland community and made such a lasting impact on my childhood. Thanks for the reupload.
