As much as I would love to recreate courses from scratch, I just don’t have the skill to do so. Also, personally I prefer the retro courses to be as faithful as possible to the original. I don’t mind the new features being added when it makes sense like the glider section on N64 Royal Raceway, underwater sections like GCN Sherbet Land, or Antigravity like N64 Rainbow Road. But when they cut out whole sections of track just to make it a glider section where it wouldn’t have made sense as one in the original like N64 Choco Mountain. Another example was how Wii Koopa Cape was more fun in the Wii version cuz you had the current that speeds you up while trying to dodge the electricity. When it came back in Mario Kart 7, it removed the fun of that part because they wanted to make it an underwater section. However on this course, most people make that first jump into a glider section which personally doesn’t make sense to me. And I did this mostly because it’s fun but also a lot of people change the visuals of this course in a way that I’m not a fan of
