Just discovered this gem! Not sure if you are still doing this kind of project, but did I hear lyrics from the choir? I'd be interested in what they are if you could share! (I also happened to write lyrics for the other half of the score where the choir isn't singing, lol.) Something about this piece just makes you want to sing along, you know?
@AdulescensFMusic2 ай бұрын
Hi, these days I have almost no time for making music but I do want to continue in the future. Yes, there some very simple lyrics: "The end is near (x3), Oh (or was it go?) Mario (x2)". Hope you are not too dissappointed in how simple they are. If you want to sing along with the piece I'd say that Koji Kondo did a great job at composing as I think it's a sign of a well crafted melody if you want to sing or whistle it.

I'm not sure which is more impressive: that this orchestration sounds as good as it does, or that the original was written so well for it's time that an orchestrated version sounds so close to it.

Where ddid you learn to remix so good?! (serious question)
@AdulescensFMusic4 ай бұрын
It's basically self taught by doing a lot of try and error as you can tell if you listen to my early remixes where for example more or less all instruments were on maximum velocity because i thought the louder the better. I also learned a lot by watching tutorials on KZbin. There are some really good videos out there where you can learn everything you need for free. So if you want to do it yourself you just need to get the software, some instruments, find some good tutorials and then just start working on your own projects. Afaik these days there is some pretty good stuff out there for free so it's easier than ever.

Why are all the brass instruments an octave lower?
@AdulescensFMusic8 ай бұрын
This one is ten years old but I think it was because of the used instruments that sounded better in the lower octaves than in the higher ones. Feel free to compare it to the newer version I made two years ago.

Charles Martinet made our childhoods. It was fun to be apart of the memories he created, but now its time for him to move on. This music will always remind me of the times we had with Charles, and the memories he gave us. One era ends and new one begins!
