The PC version is pretty bad, isn't it, and I commend you for sticking it out because I couldn't. Yeah, I gave it a go just this week on Steam (I have played it before in DOSBox many years ago before I got caught by the notorious blocked corridor bug) and it's clearly harder than the Amiga version leading to battles being very drawn out. I mean, my Amiga playthrough on here is under 4 hours with the default team, but I was struggling to get past the Serpent Tower in half that with the PC version purely because of how many bloody hits everything was taking to kill off. (*_*) ETA: Some observations for your edification:- Carrying two weapons on any character is redundant as only the left hand is utilised (it says so in the manual). Coincidentally, does not apply to rings, wands, or the Power Staff. Fighters are best equipped with axes; Adventurers with swords; Archers / Assassins with bows obviously or daggers for backstabbing; Mages with Staves. Deviating from this leads to little more than barehanded damage. Oh, and the Beast of Entropy is completely magic immune by the way -- in fact, he's pretty much immune to all but the Ace of Swords and the Stealth Blade in the hands of a Cutpurse. With two of the latter enhanced with Warpower, which gives you 300+ plus hits, it's actually possible to take him down in just over a minute if he stupidly keeps firing off spells with his back to your party. (^_^;)

Ah, thanks for the info, never knew a lot of that as we grew up with a pirated copy, no manual or saves, so just had to figure it out as we went along. Might try again someday, any version except DOS :D

@@MagicPumpkin You're most welcome, I'm sure! Pretty certain I had a copy on the Atari ST as well, no doubt from the guy with his suitcase over the car boot sale in Southmere Park. Heh, at least before the Old Bill started to crack down on that sort of thing during the mid 90s. (^p^) Incidentally, most of what I now know is down to replaying it constantly in WinUAE since, and by myself sadly. Yep, never had the pleasure of playing doubles as my brother wasn't and still isn't into these sorts of games. Would be kind of nice to team up with someone of my level and utterly wreck Zendik's poor minions. (^_~) Anyhow, I can list some other stuff I have observed if you like, which you might find interesting - or better yet, feel free to ask me anything about the game and I'll do my best to respond. (#^_^#)

I've been replaying the original and Extended Levels recently and am pretty much tapped out on party combinations now (I still prefer the default one for its versatility - to be frank, the 2 warrior/2 wizard combo is far too slow paced for my taste, especially against Lord Zendik and the Entropy Beast at the end, who both happen to be completely magic immune), so I might give this a go myself later on, assuming I can get it to work properly in WinUAE of course. (^_^)

I honestly feel like XCOM predicted the future. Elon is still determined to resurrect the red planet. Seems like a tall order but I imagine it is doable. On the other hand, I don’t expect it to last very long. Even with a breathable atmosphere we would still be breathing in trace amounts of toxic air. On top of that, the planet is too far away from the sun for crops to actually survive.

Level 2 of interview (the second game shown in the video) is a massive top down 8 way scrolling map of the city, like PS1 GTA, which is odd as level 1 is like Paperboy. Interview also came out in the UK at the same time as Paperboy in the arcade in the USA so it's no rip-off.

I remember the arcade version was great. How they even imagined they could pull this off on the 8bit machines is beyond me! Even the ST and Amiga versions are pretty dire. Great to watch it though! Thanks for sharing. I’ll avoid this I think ;)

not sure yet but being there arent many options but would you mind if I made a song with this track. I am getting ideas for some songs in similar style sung like certain bands & just had an idea for a sum41 Deryck Whibley type original lyric song. Chris Cornel is another that one is closer to done Im just trying to search for a good sum41-esk track. BTW scanned your channel nice fallguys win lol I never could win but I did make a music video sorta just looks like a promo video for the game though lol.

It is not about your knowledge, i m pretty familiar with "master of the lamps" and "moon patrol" but it is some clone called "jeep command" that i could never seen because stupid name, i m curious what they did differently... Encounter i never seen because it overshadowed by zxspectrum's 3d death chase, or something like this it was called...or that nes or game boy games where you shoot pacmans(pacmen) in first person shooter.
