@garyshobbystudioАй бұрын
I wouldn't sell it because it was just too flaky. The norco cases were good at the time but over time the quality was really poor. Not sure why the back planes for the drives would just disconnect for no reason. That is why both were replaced over time just due to that. Trying to get ahold of them when I did have a problem and there was not return message is what sealed the deal for me. You can get empty cases on ebay of supermicro which are way better. I have a youtube storage server I created but need to finish things up with it go get it online for me to use. They do allow standard motherboards to be used with them. Just make sure that the heatsink and fan are not too tall or you will not get the lid back on.

😅omg i was screaming: Lower texture quality! And you finally reached that part in the settings: and then you said: I leave these settings😂😂 vram is getting load with shadow and texture maps. Increase resolution to 1920x1080 means same resolution texture and shadow maps will be loaded into mem which is bigger. So try 1080p and then lower texture quality. Good change it will load. I got the rtx3000 it runs ultra.🎉

Is it possible to upgrade the screen? From 1080p to 4k
@garyshobbystudio5 ай бұрын
It might be possible, but with the added expense, it is possible to make sure that everything fits correctly and the panel is compatible with the motherboard. You might as well find a used one that is already set up for 4k. Unless you are really set on keeping that model lenovo. I'm sure that the display cable for the panel is not set up for the 4k display, so that would have to be changed. Then the bezel will not be the right fit, and that plus the lid will need to be changed. So you can search and source the parts, but you have to determine if the cost is worth it for you.

I don't like it at all, going to use a old ultra trigger. Its like it was somekind of "nazi" style of making you use the airbrush like AnRRel RRiraldez. My finger sits more to the front, its probably not the best way to "sit" on the trigger. Bottom line it is not ergonomical at all and it does not make sense. The original trigger from the regular Infinity was just perfect. If it "ain't" broke...

Honestly I'd say the way they should have done the lockers is how hershey park deals with their locker system. You get a free locker but if you go over x amount of time the park charges you for use of the locker. That way no one can just leave their stuff in a locker all day. Also maintaining those lockers are relatively cheap, I believe the actual costs come from them actually being rentals from other companies. So cedar fair gets the profits but has to pay x company a fixed rate I believe. Two ways companies usually deal with this is just increasing ticket price to have that cost in or just charge for lockers as cedar point is doing. I have a feeling this is just a test trial for them to see reactions to paying for lockers then they might just increase the ticket costs and season pass costs when they merge with six flags. Playing devil's advocate however, charging for lockers right now is completely the right move business sense wise. It's going to be popular, it's going to have high demand all season, and people will pay whatever they charge, usually just a dollar anyways. So if we do the math TT2 will be capable of around 1k riders per hour. Lets say all of those in the 1k are in family groups of around 4. So that's around 250 lockers needed per hour. Cedar Point is open for 10 hours a day at the beginning of the season, so that's an extra $2.5k a day. At the end of just the summer season in august, not even accounting for when the park is open for an extra two hours a day, the park will have made $290,000.000 off locker sales for tt2 alone. That would pay for TT2's maintenance costs and electrical alone. So yeah, totally from a business standpoint I'd say charge that shit.
@garyshobbystudio9 ай бұрын
Which was my point on regardless what they pay for the lockers they still pay for them and the maintenance. Even if it is in the cost of whatever support contract they have. It's still a cost they have to pay. I am no designer or engineer. With all the footage I have seen from media day I have doubts that they could put a locker system like hershey or that they have for steel vengeance just because of all the changes that was made between the tracks. If the can for next year kudos to cedar fairs team and that will be amazing. I just feel if they do that for those lockers outside of the ride like Hersheypark. What happens if the ride breaks down and some people wait. People will be upset that the free locker turned into a pay locker. I also think if they can put some lockers in there. It may reduce the line capacity by how much I don't know and will not try to calculate it. So if they can come up with a solution that will make people happy for everyone.
@Millionaire2K9 ай бұрын
PS comment: Your argument that "lockers can not be free or its ok to cost $$ because they need to maintain them" makes NO sense. For example, What if next year they start charging to use a bench, toilet or lean on a railing or charge for every step you take. Some things are a part of doing business. TT2 cost to do business involves lockers and should be included because they are required for the ride. Raise the ticket price of the park and make ALL lockers free ..... See how that can work.
@garyshobbystudio9 ай бұрын
If you don't like the cost of the lockers then don[t ride it. They also have floating lockers you can use for the day. Plus the cost to replace a toilet is cheaper than the cost of the lockers because of the electronics and stuff. So to be honest your point of compairison really don't hold up.

@Millionaire2K9 ай бұрын
It is a cash grab, any park that MAKES you use lockers AND makes you pay for the lockers are scamming people (SF included). If the lockers are the deciding factor in your parking going bankrupt, then you got problems. A bank of free lockers in the queue would easily fit, and you know it. Also You could give locker passes at the exit of the ride to unlock a paid locker bank near the entrance (kinda like parking validation). Also Universal Studios AND Disney both provide free TIMED lockers near their attractions that require them, never are they full because "everyone uses them". If HersheyPark can jam a bank of FREE lockers inside the queue of Wildcat's Revenge, CP could do the same. WITH ALL THAT SAID, It does not bother me that they don't provide free lockers. I get it and understand things do cost $$. I also understand that they chose NOT to do it, and that's FINE by me. BUT you should not act like OMG they could NOT do it because of x,y,z. There are many ways to do it. They just decided no. The end. LOL I decided to ramble to match the style of the video.... :)
