I know this is a good Machine with good product support ...Because I have beat most pieces of Geoprobe equipment into the Ground and they Held up fantastic with gold product support .. I can only imagine what This rig is capable of in the Hands 🙏 of a Good Efficient Driller 💪

My Current Mission ....sample hole with Mc-5... then switch to 4 -1/4 augers to rock ...switch tooling Core holes with HQ Wireline to find desired fractures then switch tooling to .. 8-1/4 augers to 20 feet and setting over 40 feet of 6 inch casing with these rigs 😂 Then Drilling with API Rods and 5 inch Air hammer to desired depth to set well . Testing the absolute Max Capabilities of these Rigs on some of the Coolest most high profile Jobs out there. Geo probes tough . I have and am testing there capabilities to the max in the field . They are good machines. Can I get another Free Hat ?

They do have Great service and parts Support and the workers have always been kind to me . I have tested the Absolute Extreme Capabilities of most Geoprobe Units on hundreds of job sites. some of the most high profile Geotech and environmental jobs out there and have conquered a lot . The Rigs and Tooling can take a absolute Beating and get jobs done. I am a fan of Geoprobe rigs as a driller 👍

I Have Beat Most Models of Geoprobe Units into the Litteral Dirt on some of Toughest Jobs in the North East ....they Can Take a true Beating . Some time it's not by choice it's just the types of jobs you get into but they can take it . I can't wait to Run there 8150 Sonic . That's one I haven't got to test to the limits yet ...

GREAT!!! I was on an old 7822DT with a faulty fuel gauge. Diesel ran dry, they said this machine doesn’t have a bleeder. And now I am the genius that fixed it!

What is the difference in sampling with dt22 vs. mc5? and how do you know when either is used?

The primary differences between the two are: Size of core - MC5 provides a 1.68” diameter core whereas the DT22 is smaller at 1.275” Methodology - MC5 the entire tool string comes out of the ground for each sample interval. DT22 the outer casing remains in the hole as the sample is tripped out via the center rod string.

@@GeoprobeSystems oh ok and in what cases would you use mc5 rather than dt22 as it seems dt22 is a little more convenient with not having to take out outer casing?

@@qerick9238mc5 is just a faster process when you don’t need an outer casing. DT helps a lot with sands
