yeah that would work.. but the amount you would earn in hours can be done in a single mission :p i guess anything is bonus though.. so not a bad thing.

@@zaraxeq Mostly I'm interested in SHD opinions, although I also have BRD/ENC/CLR/MAG/WIZ. All have the cloak/neck/ring. If it would be worth it I could go back and get the Rallos ear, but I doubt the extra 18/19 slots would make up for the loss of stats.

Hiya for Shadowknight with 3 chase pieces in group content that will be 6 type 18 and 3 type 19 spots. I would suggest for: Type 19s (2) attacker augs, and (1) ventral Type 18s (2) attacker augs, (2) dex augs, and (2) enhancement Can swap out agil ones if you favor those Reason why attackers is that sk basically heal themselves the more damage they do (epic and drinkers) I would not suggest doing rallos ear at this point for the purpose of wearing and additional type 18/19 slots. However doing rallos quests partially for the Velium Empowered Gem of Freezing (Convertible type 7 aug) everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=138063 Is a decent aug that hasnt been replaced yet. This aug can convert into a sympth casting proc, healing aug, or a melee proc one. I believe you need to quest up to the tofs part of the rallos ear to learn the recipe for this aug. Bard would be same augs suggested for shadowknight Cleric = pick whatever stat augs you want.. poor clerics get nothing really that impacts what they do. Casters = 4 casting augs, and 5 highest stat ones Hope this answers your question.. good luck!

what class are you? have a magelo or raid loot profile? Possibly I can help you review your toon to see if there are any quick easy things to improve yourself.. group content wise. There are a ton of things to improve a toon besides just raid gear.

I box this mission daily in group gear. One thing that doesn't really come across in Zarax's videos is how big of a difference having a raid geared warrior tanking makes. My SK is wearing a mix of the group T2 and tradeskill armor, has best in slot type 7 and 5 augments, all the AAs, etc. That is, he is more or less as maxed out as you can get without raiding. Things can still get dicey when tanking the priest, rector, and acolytes all at once. If you miss a cure, it can spiral out of control quickly. Your "average" group geared tank may not be able to cut it, unless maybe you bring multiple of them, or perhaps do something like use an earth pet to tank the priest while your group tank gathers the others. This mission also has a burn strategy, though. If your group can manage ~11M dps, you can burn through the priest and rectors inside (or mostly inside) the duration of an invulnerability discipline like deflection, at which point it barely matters how good the tank's gear is. Since I switched to this strategy this has become the easiest and quickest of the four missions.

@@alanwj 100% agree.. never said it would be easy for group players..but for sure certainly possible.. Also dragon glyph makes a huge difference if tanks are struggling staying up. Hell I still dragon glyph just to be extra safe.. lol But like I mentioned I do appreciate that you don't have to burn if your group is not able to. Having the option to go slow in order not to be over whelmed is a nice option to have compared to other missions.. Like heroes forge.

@@alanwj Sorry , but I don't believe it. I see this every day, you won't win this unless your group is a raid group. Normal characters with 500k or less won't have a chance on this content. Gates of discord all over again.

@@zaraxeq Not saying that it won't be easy is another way of saying, you are screwed if you are a social group player. Anyway is not personal ,just pointing that I see this on pick up groups failing again and again unless a raid group with 1milling hp hops along. Eq did it again with this expansion, challenge is good but going over the limit of the capabilities of some is just silly.

​@zaraxeq i look back at the so many years hours just sitting and waiting for things to spawn. Not sure If the game is still similar where it's all per server not instances. I bet some of those zones I could still run through by heart like lower guk or ice caverns killing those spiders.

Figured out the trick is that the dark/light energy is only cast every 45s so you wait to see who gets it, then you dps as appropriate for the next 40s or so, then wait again to see who gets it. etc.

I dunno, the Teek TLP is the highest population EQ server of all time (including back in the day). The game obviously generates enough revenue to crank out yearly expansions 25 years on, unlike the dozens of MMOs that have come and gone in the decades since….

im actually releasing a video soon about savior for the missions. The way they did missions this year are all percentage base adds/mechanics. So if you go super slow on boss you can control the tempo of the event.

Droppings in AC only drop off flappy mobs and possibly eyeballs.

they are still tweeking missions.. likely for the next 2 months. Brood Architect Hazuri is the easiest of the 4 missions, so this mission would be it if any.

Heart mission is likely the easiest mission now after the hot fix. Very box friendly. Ill try to make a box video to show it in the near future.
