Your video on the Empress Mini was very helpful. . It is so confusing when I want my best cutting and embossing with the various papers, and then I think "where does the shim go, and should I use the metal or should I use the other mat or ......? I have so many dies from Anna Griffin, and love them all, and I am finding I love the Empress Mini above all her other machines I have for cutting & embossing. Thank you so much, and I look forward to your other videos. Frank Macaluso

suggestion on the liner: don't tape the bottom part to the envelope inside - if you do, it'll bunch up. only tape the top part of the liner to the env flap. thanks for the deets & demo!

Thanks for sharing. I found 2 full boxes of 100 sheets each of old transparencies for over head projectors at my local goodwill. Since you use the shiny side, I believe these will work perfectly. I will be giving it a try. Thank you for sharing.

A seven-minute video on how to make your own blending solution that doesn't include anything about making your own blending solution. It describes in excruciating detail how to use 70% rubbing alcohol from a dropper bottle to thin inks in a sponge. Indeed, either Isopropyl and Ethyl alcohols will blend two or more alcohol inks together, one solution for blending two or more inks I suppose, but that does not make them 'blending solutions', nor does it fulfill the purpose of a blending solution. Now that I've read some comments and see I am not the first person to make these points, may I suggest something? Generously, you might call this a thinner used to assist in blending. Or rather just call it what it is, a technique to blend alcohol inks, no one can argue with that. Not even us Internet trolls can argue this is a blending technique, and if it had been titled as such you would have gotten no criticism and you would have not wasted our time expecting a recipe for a blending solution. The Internet is full of hungry critics, it's best not to feed them!

Hello why didn’t you show everyone while you talk about what you can do why didn’t you just spritz the Matt and rub a card or piece of paper to show everyone what it looks like I thought by you not doing that I was kind of silly but it’s your video.🌻

I bought these tools a decade ago but somehow they got relegated to an unused drawer. Recently I found them and tried to use them again but was completely flummoxed by the lip not catching. Duh, should have thought to raise the paper. But I never would have come to that conclusion had you not mentioned it in your video. Thanks for reuniting me with these handy tools!❤

Yo! Did this craft take off or did it die? Im trying to find the Patina paint and its impossible to get the color i want, which is the green spectrum. But do you know a source not effected by the 10 year passing.

Oh my goodness Linda this was an amazing tutorial. I buy lots of prints and commissions at artist alleys/conventions and store them in art binders with page protectors...some of them are oddly shaped so they're kept in a separate envelope. I've been itching to cut my own page protectors for them but didn't know how to go about it - your video has helped me immensely. Thank you so much for the help, I hope you're well. :) <3

Linda, you are a great instructor! I had MAJOR issues with the design of this card!!!! The front fold is flimsy, takes away from making a stable, easy to open card. Glad i was not the only one. Very disappointed!!!!!!
