Hmm... It does look a bit weird from the front with the "uneven" framing of the black bezel and then the white outline that's only on the top and the sides. I definitely prefer that the bezels of a display (and TV for that matter) is even on all sides. And also preferably no logos on the bezel. At least more discrete than in this case. Otherwise the specs and functionality this display offers seems great (thinking for example about the 140W power delivery via USB-C and the KVM). But what happened to Dolby Vision support that I remember reading about? Don't seem to be mentioned on HP's website for the display.

3440x1440 @ 39" is a PPI comparable to that of a 23" 1080p monitor. Not a total deal-breaker, but also a bit underwhelming.

As for the resolution, you can use super resolution, that helps some. Although, I don't think it's bad in native 3440 x 1440p.

True, 1440p is still amazing. However, graphic card technology is exploding and soon 8k will be the standard (maybe in 5-6 years from now)

@JustSumDude - Yes you can turn off the backlight! Just update the firmware and you can turn it off via the Monitor's OSD

This thing doesn’t compare to the steam deck when it comes to usability. every time I use it I have some kind of issue and go straight to my steam deck. The only reason I got it is to play Xbox games and it does that OK but even then this steam deck blows it away a light years.
