Cute! What are the dimensions, please, of the base diameter and the height of the cozy?

Does the starting chain count matter?

No, it doesn’t matter. You can add or remove as many stitches as you’d like to get different sizes :)

Crochet this balloon and love it. Can I use other types of yarn like velvet instead?
@AubreyAaden
@AubreyAaden Ай бұрын
One of the reasons blanket yarn works so well for these is because it absorbs quite a bit of water, allowing the ‘balloon’ to keep a lot of water. I’m not sure if velvet yarn would work as well. I’ve never tried it though so I can’t be sure.

Great way of making these, easy as can be and so much fun. I’ve made about 60 and my grandkids begged me to make more. So fun and no bits of balloons to pick up afterwards…❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️

Thanks for watching and commenting :) The smaller cactus is a pattern I made up, which I'm hoping to get written out soon. The larger one is another creator. This is her youtube video for it. It's in French though. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5ivmmmJrpdog6c
