Lived in episkopi, up on the cliffs, in 1968, learnt to swim on Tunnel beach early in the morning, magical time ❤❤

I was living here in 1973-4 (age 9/10) in Mulberry Mansions (hilarious name given the construction of the houses!), and went to the school round the corner. I’m wondering if the oval shaped road is Mulberry Mansions, if so I can see my old house. We were evacuated when the Turks invaded, first to Akrotiri, then back to the U.K.

Wonderful video! Do you know if you can kayak on the dams of Cyprus? We were told that any floating equipment is prohibited on the dams.

Very sad to see what was a vibrant village with an awesome swimming and diving pool now laid to ruin. I lived there from 1980-1982 when my father was attached to the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders, and then Scots Guards.

The scenes look different with the overgrown abandonment. Many happy memories swimming in the pool. The diving board felt like you were standing on top of the world.

I served in Cyprus 1963 to 66 at polimedia. Used to pass beringaria such a shame to see today. Sunday's took my family to the church. Several RAF colleagues lived there. Been back in 1980s

Lived there 1968 2 kids at primary school, we lived a few houses away from school. Have a photo in the Pool area , remember cinema . The locals used to come in garden & collect the carobs under the trees .Great memories, sad to see it now . Husband RAF. ran School buses around Limassol.

Paid a visit just last year (2019) and looked like it had all been demolished. Just piles of rubble everywhere with just the church still standing.

Which Church? St Marks CSFC? My Dad was the Padre there in 1974. We were evacuated to Akrotiri.

Flight plans the magic word . Distance and height was pre-calculated for all obstacles before flight , Not even close , when you fly with tele-zoom lens objects appear closer. Also we fly VLOS .
