Why not just sell these bricks already attached to those metal sheets and just leave three rows unfilled to attach the medal sheets to the wall and then just include the remaining three rows of bricks to add after the sheet is attached to the wall.

Why don't they use the molten slag from the blast furnace of the steel mill directly? Would save an enormous amount of energy

Mineral will should be banned. This whole metric of energy to make vs. Energy saved is a lie. Energy substitution is not energy saved. Wool and cotton insulation is the only way forward

If the product comes in contact with water is degrades quickly. A lot of money was spent to produce it. I worked in a facility much like this..

@@wauzdancer1556i didnt know that, i use it as heat insulation for a woodstove chimney in a tipi. However i stuffed it between a 5"(125mm) chimney pipe and an 8"(200mm) aluminium sheet pipe and its far from waterproof! Im concerned now that its dissolving, if thats the right description and losing its capacity for shielding the chimney heat.

The only concern I have is the use of saws to cut it to size. Why not use high pressure water nozzles to cut to size. A saw will spread the finer particles into the air.

it's all for show,, I've picked these things up before (truck driver) and been inside there multiple times, they ALL wear gas mask looking things (they weren't wearing them during filming ONLY ....for fake publicity to make customers feel it's safe) hahahaha

Couldn't believe it. T-shirts? Tank tops? No masks? Not hating on the product but that stuff is offensive to be around. It feels way itchier than regular fiberglass and it makes me cough and snot up. As far as performance and ease of installation goes its the bees knees. Very pleasant to cut and shape, awesome sound performance as well. But I get a sinking feeling in my stomach whenever we have to use it at work, I bring an extra change of clothes. I always assumed it was chock full of fire-retardant but maybe I'm wrong. The packaging says it is an irritant but non-toxic. Also took me way too long to be told this but after working with insulation when you go home and shower rinse yourself off with cold water first. Hot water opens your pores and all the fiberglass or rockwool gets in there and then you're itchy all over after the shower.

Awesome video EXCEPT for one thing...What's the GLUE BINDER made from???? That's a HUUUGE hole in your video. first of all I thought it was amazing that one could make "wool" from basaltic rock and I was excited until I heard there's a GLUE BINDER added. I want to know if it's safe for the environment, or not. They use rockwool for ornamental plants for aquariums for example and have been for ages. I imagine it's safe for aquaria but still want to know what the glue binder is.
