Gotta say the current Daisho storyline is prolly my favorite, but I think this one might be my next favorite🤔 It’s hard to tell since they’re all so good but I definitely feel a very close similarity in my investment to this storyline as with Daisho’s. So excited to see what happens with Yahaba, how the Kyotani/Kindaichi dynamic evolves, and DEFINITELY excited about seeing those two go full guard dog mode.

Definitely getting vibes someone’s bullying him about polyamory. Making him feel selfish, telling him Kyotani resents him for “not thinking he was enough”, planting thoughts the others don’t need him around, etc. Cuz of the references to Yahaba’s parents I’m getting the feeling they’re responsible. Side note, did anybody else feel like Kindaichi and Kyotani have some alpha energy that used to show as protective and a bit territorial but now they just share protectiveness over their sweethearts?
