Apart from vario what is the regular chirping? Is it an alarm. O2 supply or something else.?
@cloudstreets13962 ай бұрын
FLARM I think
@gavinshort10912 ай бұрын
@@cloudstreets1396 FLARM doesn't sound like that nor does the EDS O2 supply. I am referring to the four short beeps in quick succession.

@@cloudstreets1396 I watched the video again I think it is one of the Mountain High EDS O2 regulators sensing that one of the pilots isn't receiving enough oxygen. There is a short discussion between the pilots later on in the video. I looked it up. It's the Apnea alarm: one of the pilots hasn't breathed for 30 seconds, the tubing is kinked, or the pilot is breathing through his mouth....its important to pay attention to alarms 😮.

Isn’t dangerous riding on the outside? Is there a pilot seat in the back outside and one inside too? Do u have to wear a parachute ? Sorry for so many questions it just looks so dangerous being outside. Hope u stay safe.

The wings seem to be much stiffer comparing to most of the modern gliders of the similar wingspan. Or is it just my illusion? Anyway, a damn nice looking thing! I wouldn't mind owning one. Just a hint...

What is rough air? Is it harder to breathe? I thought glider pilots had oxygen.

Awesome RC toy but why those LEDS for the afterburner? such a beautiful system. I mean everything works why not make the afterburner real and functional with an extra little gastank and airgaps near the end of the plane. mix the propane, or kerosine with an extra fuel pump mixed the fuel with the air and let some of the air cool down the heat a bit. Should be a fun project, basically, you build a little ramjet behind the turbine jet with extra airgaps. In theory, if you achieve a certain speed you can shut down the turbine jet engine.
