How can Jesus allow you to spank? It’s a sin to hurt someone. You are not a loving Christian, you are a child abuser.

My wife and I are undeniably soulmates and there's absolutely no limit on the amount of love I have for her and our children but I've not always been the best for her and we've had some pretty rocky times but her and have such a powerful and unique and amazing connection that we always work together and get through things. It's not easy because I am 14 years older than she is I'm now 52 but we met coming up on 8 years ago when I was 44 and she had 2 young children from a previous marriage where the father refused to be in their lives didn't want to be a father at all and just wanted out so she let him. And the biggie is that she is a very proud liberal and I am a kinda middle of the road conservative type and really conservative in some aspects. I have pew pews and she's never been around them etc the point is we are two different people on a lot of levels but we make it work but not only do we make it work but we together it's the absolute best relationship I've ever had ever and I adore her and pretty much worship the ground she walks on. Not even a couple months into our relationship we got pregnant and I already have 3 daughters from a previous marriage and two of them were already grown themselves and I am in their lives and it's great but I have never been able to have a biological son and it was always my dream and my dad always hoped I would have one but at 44 I had all but given up hope on it ever happening but one day I come in from work and she said she has the results from a test the doctor ran and it has the sex of our baby and she asked me if I wanted to know and of course I do and she hands me the paper and I see boy on it and about passed out but started crying and hugged her for a long time because my dad had passed away just a little less than a month before we met and I knew it was his last little gift to us and then a year and a half after our son was born we had a beautiful baby girl and our family is complete with 2 girls and 2 boys and because of the older kids didn't ever have a dad I became dad and I'm the only dad they've ever known and I love them all exactly the same as our little ones I don't have "step children" I have 4 amazing smart fantastic kids and a gorgeous sexy wife that keeps this old man on his toes except when we are alone after the kids go to sleep and then I show her what an added 14 years of experience is like lol... Those young guys don't have anything on us older dudes and she will happily tell anyone.. I've never been rich or too lucky in life and I've always had to work at least twice as hard as everyone else for half of what they got but I never complained and I've always been grateful for everything I got in life but I hit the lottery of the century when I found her and she is a scorcher and the best woman I've ever seen in my life.

The Bible says “Thou shalt beat him with a rod” in Prov 23:14. It’s a commandment. It’s not pleasant, like a lot of God’s commandments. But it yields a peaceable fruit (Heb 12:11). Most people that have negative views on spanking weren’t spanked they were just smacked around. For me and my kids a spanking was a calm talk about what I/they did wrong, over the knee and 1-2 dozen smacks on the bottom. It does absolutely no lasting harm, at most a couple of blisters that disappear within a day. From my perspective as a child, it was the only punishment I feared. I could care less about being grounded, but I definitely did not want a spanking, as a small child due to the pain, as a teen due to the embarrassment. I never got spanked just because my parent had a bad day. Every single time it was deserved. As a parent, I constantly received compliments on my children at restaurants, because they sat up and acted civil for the entire meal. They weren’t jumping up from the table, running in front of waitresses or screaming like all of the unspanked kids. I started telling people it was because I spanked them. They didn’t usually like to hear that, just like most people here don’t want to hear it. As a frequent traveler, I can tell you that since spanking has declined, kids behavior has become atrocious. Kids basically tell their parents what to do and enforce their wishes through screaming and throwing fits. Imagine what they will be like when they grow up. And this is something I now see all the time. Growing up I saw parents carry their kids to the bathroom and reemerge with a teary eyed child that sat down (gingerly) and behaved. Now I see parents shove an iPhone with a game in front of them to shut them up. They learn no self-control, just instant gratification.

I'm always alone and I have no friends. I have no car or any way to get out of my house. What do I do? I'm always alone and bored. I've been single for 11 years now. No girls give me any attention in public. I do it because I'm always stressed out because I'm always alone and dont have a girlfriend or any friends. How do I fix these problems?

The problem I’m facing with this topic and don’t know where to go. I am a renewed christian I would say and I’m getting closer to Jesus/God And I am gay and married with my husband. And from this renewed faith. I feel like I’m being pulled back and forth with same sex sin. Especially because I’m married. Some people say it’s a sin and others say it’s not because we’re talking about a loving committed relationship that’s also Christ centered. Because I’m Christian he’s catholic. So we both believe in god. And worship him together. We go to church every Sunday. So that’s been my struggle. And for the sake that it’s a sin because I don’t want to loose my spouse but I don’t want to go to hell for having sexual relations with my spouse. I stopped um doing anything sexual. But now I’m faced with urges for masturbation because I can’t have sex with my spouse for it being possibly a sin and I feel bad because I can’t be intimate with him for that reason. now I’m left with masturbation. But I feel like now that’s a sin as well.

If people post explicit and clean versions of the same video post on social media, this action is similar to how most explicit music is enforced.

I have such a beautiful wife who deserves nothing but the best. My wife has acknowledged that I've been working on myself, but I know I haven't done enough. I've been working hard on not being so critical and also being soft spoken. For a while, it seemed like every word that came out of my mouth was critical or harsh. My wife felt disconnected from me for a bit. I'm making big steps to stop negative behavior. One of my biggest struggles is addiction that many men get introduced to. Its very very hard to break from it, but I know its very possible as you said. I love my wife, so the battle to be better is worth it
