Simon, I'm reposting the comment I gave to Andy's video because it applies equally to you! That was such a wonderful time to watch. The food and libations looked delicious. The camaraderie and good humor was great! - rain can't stop that, it only makes it better. It was wonderful to see you and Andy back together, as it always is. Merry Christmas from southern Arizona to you, Andy and all the viewers! **Wow, after posting my comment I scrolled down to read other comments. I was so pleased to see so many other people felt the same way about the two of you back together!! True buddies!

Thank you both for entertaining and informing us during 2024. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Tasmania. Bloody good show chaps!!!! Oh - we had a laugh! The video and soundtrack worked OK on the computer but when we cast it to the TV via an Apple TV box (as we have been doing for years) Simon was suddenly talking in Italian(?) wth a female voice. Haven't found out how to fix this yet but we will.

I stay in a teepee but I put the Adirondack shelter somewhere else I live in Bear Country and don't want food smells where I stay, I use it to block the wind for cooking like a baker's tent. It is so desolate I rarely see people, been camping out in a ghost town where my friend owns the property, and there are about 2 cars per night that go down the main highway I can leave the tent up alone on public land and nobody will mess with it. I got a color that matches the landscape.

Some idiot that was living there was feeding the bears. He died about a year ago and I'm getting paid to clean it up I bet there are less than 10 people living in this ghost town. I got high voltage rope I've been setting up. I also got big bullets but I don't want to hurt the bears they need to live wild again not be people feed. I got to use poles, we have trees but most are short and not strong enough to hold a ridgeline, for some of them you can push the whole tree over by hand and break it up Utah juniper is one of them they are old but brittle trees those things snap at the base of the trunk easily. Besides the bears, we have all kinds of smart animals that will raid your food.

There is another ghost town nearby when I was a kid there were about 500 people and a hundred houses today there are 4 people in the old public school that is converted to a home, that's a big house with a gym and one old ranch house. Everything else that was there in 1983 is gone even the concrete foundations and streets. It a very pretty place and it has thousands of acres of desolate public land to camp on the next people with houses are 20 miles away. A cougar crossed the road the last time I went to the old school my friends bought the place. It gets cold here at night even in the summer in the winter it ice tent heaters, that's why I have a teepee it got one of those diesel ice tent heaters.
