Training to Enhance Services for English Language Learners (TESELL)

This channel has been created as part of a larger TESELL project, the purpose of which is to help speech-language pathologists transfer knowledge to other professionals about best practices in evaluating and fostering language development in English language learners (ELLs). Over the years, we have received numerous requests from SLPs for resources and materials that may help them train other SLPs and educators who work with ELLs. To help meet this need, we are pooling our efforts to offer professional development resources, with a particular focus on preschool-age Spanish-speaking ELLs with and without language impairment.

The TESELL project is sponsored by funding from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Grant Program to Support Multicultural Activities.
