A big shout out to the director Prithvi Konanur for stepping up to create an excellent, socially relevant and engrossing film. Watching the movie feels like you are watching actual real life unfold in front of you. The acting by all is a joy to watch. It is worth supporting such independent and meaningful films .. especially in our Kannada language.

I liked the movie - simple looking but thought-provoking and empathizes with all characters involved. The treatment of the topic was well done. I am sad that we have such issues in the society which seems so slow to educate itself and respond instead of react. Hope this will inspire our society to be courageous, thoughtful and more empathetic. Good work by the entire team which has made the movie.

I saw this movie several times & every time I felt that JESSI Advocate has given hundred percent of her inner heart touching performance & surpassing all the actors in this sweet movie. I felt annoyed when the legal adviser of the college show her the Injunction injunction order of not allowing her inside the college campus. The body language of jessi aunty was simply superb.

I would like to humbly point out that Dvamdva is meant to be watched as a movie, not as a documentary or medical film. As a transgender person, I see this film as a heartfelt attempt to tell a story inspired by real-life experiences. This lack of awareness is not unusual and reflects the reality of how many of us navigate through life, learning and unlearning as we go. 😊 The film does not claim to provide a comprehensive guide to gender or sexuality but instead focuses on the emotional struggles, confusion, and growth of a person trying to find their place in the world.
