I can't help thinking that if Waters was really sorry about what happened to Jeremy, so much so that he couldn't sleep at night, he could have given Jeremy some of the money that he would have made from the diabetes-related shares.

Yes, I'm surprised that no one else has commented on this. That final scene, with the look on the foreman's face, does seem to hint that he found something, but it could just be that he still isn't sure that he made the right decision.

I find the UK legal system perplexing compared to the US! I can’t believe with a hung jury they will reduce it to 10 jurors… although it is frustrating when one juror, despite a preponderance of evidence either way, holds out and tanks the case. The way lawyers make snarky speeches and introduce theories not in evidence is weird, and in the US would be grounds for a mistrial, but NO ONE event objects so it must be okay. This is the first time I saw a British jury deliberate, and they’re talking about ABSOLUTE certainty of guilt to convict, but without witnesses or CCTV certainty isn’t possible; this is why it needs to be BEYOND a reasonable doubt, which in my opinion they didn’t have that in this show. The violent mentally ill man is REASONABLE DOUBTin this case!

It’s astonishing to me how BRILLIANT the casts of British shows are. Hollywood could never afford to put all this top tier talent on one show; this is why I LOVE Brit drama!

Voir Dir was hilarious for me. It was a civil trial. The attorneys for the deceased went fishing. It was when NYPD had just settled 2 internationally known killings by cops. 😂 They "understood" if we felt sorry for the cops. I was the only on one to laugh. I was picked and the family got 15 million.🎉 unanimously from the jury.🤙

We talked about it in the jury room every day before we were supposed to. Duty down there meant Little Italy lunch or genuine Chinese food from THE Chinatown. We knew the verdict, but lunch was delicious everyday.

A great movie, and I wished the ending would be different, but the West looks at us as terrorists. The same story happened to me in France, and I was an illegal immigrant, but I got married and a happy ending. Thank you. Greetings from Tunisia.
