Thanks a lot! These demos are all mixed, cause it would be a bit weird to show these samples just with raw drums etc haha, but the Slammers samples themselves are raw, just basically added on top of the mixed drums. So the only processing on them is that on the master bus

From Cali Oversized cabs to Contenders Round 1, which ones do you prefer? It seems the Contenders have more like a 3D effect? i dunno but they all sound great regardless! Thank you for this comparison!

@@Anrooox Thanks a lot! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’d say my fav is the Zilla pack, then Contenders, then Goldstack and then finally Cali. Doesn’t mean the Cali’s bad haha, just suits my mixing/production style less than the other 3

Yes, absolutely, 0 difference between post proccessing for all the cabs, in fact they're all just put in a single guitar group

Ah, finally a tutorial that actually teaches you something rather than just showing off a finished mix without much explanation. This was actually very helpful since i personally find Toontrack-samples to lack power in hits and i have a hard time getting them to sit the way i want in the mix. Recently got into the GGD world, and although this might not correlate to your channel's content, would it be possible for you to do a tutorial on an entire kit mix? Not to sound like an absolute copycat here but i'm trying SO hard to achieve drum tones as close to " Samudra " as possible, and i'd DIE for an explanation on that! 😂

I'm really against the recent trend of keeping the audio interface gain low, I'd say keep it reasonable, just so that it doesnt clip, and compensate with the ampsim input gain if you need to 🙏

Damn, this sounds good. I'm already pretty fond of your personal IR's but to my liking, the stock IR's didn't disappoint either. Plexi style amps are a little harder to dial in than say High Gain amps in my opinion but this one as the title says, is perfect. Just the right amount of bite!

I'm astonished by your upload pace lately 😂 Snowstorm Sounds so damn good, perfect blend of brightness and low end. I'll be sure to take the rest of them for a proper test run at some point! Absolutely love how you can fuse the metal oriented riffs in a more rock'y mix setting. Sounds so organic and pure. Good job on this one, mate!
