IDK, But my first guitar was an SG and this one sounds really better. It sounds really great with open chords and power chords. The only thing I can say against it, its the neck... not bad at all.

Years ago I bought my first black strat and the guy in the proshop demoed it on a 30W Orange box - and it sounded absolutely beautiful - lush, chiming cleans and ‘clean’ heavy distorted sounds. 50 years on and I’m looking for a small gigging combo - and this video is bringing back memories of what got me started playing electric guitars! Edit - half a century and half a planet away - I've just taken delivery of the latest Crush 20RT and used it on stage for the first time - and I believe it went well! Had to wind the volume down to about 2 1/2 as the venue was a village hall - and that was more than loud enough! Absolutely classic amp - will be staying with Orange from now on!
