It's not "buff efficiency" but buff duration And yes rogue's having less buff duration directly impact on the healing from potions but rogue's have high action speed meaning they can heal faster with bandages

you dont want to build will as poison rogue, you want to build additional/true magical damage to get optimal damage. will is a % dmg bonus, where as additional/true magic dmg is a flat bonus

rogues are quite bad right now, the class has completely lagged behind fighter barb, the people who will tell you rogue wasnt in a bad place during last playtest are the same people who will tell you wizard is balanced because of the hotfix nerfs. at a bare minimum they need to revert rapier nerfs back to how the rapier was in playtest 2. level 20 on rogue, fighter and barb btw.

You can trust every tooltip. Just because they are modified by your character's stats, doesn't mean they are not accurate. It just means you gotta take your character into consideration.

That is because of the way the damage is calculated. The ability rupture is modified by you current Physical power and if you have negative Physical Power you are losing damage (Iron mace always rounds up on percentages BTW) while being at 0% modifier you will do the base 20 DMG for the ability do to no modifiers being applied. Abilities like Poisoned Weapon gain damage bonuses equal to your Magic Power Bonus. Rogue "naked" starts with 8 Strength and 5 Will. Strength modifies Physical Power bonus while Will modifies Magical Power bonus. You need at least 15 in any stat to no have any negative modifiers associated with those stats.

Weak point is based on your weapon damage dealing 50% more damage then normal, so anything that buffs your damage directly (Str, Weapon Damage, Physical Power, and Physical damage that is not true damage) True damage is added after all other math (so its not effected by buffs, hit location, armor or anything)

It does have one of the nicer chests, but not the nicest. I agree it should have the nicest.

Ya... I will be honest, I have a set up that lets me fix that after recording but I forgot to set it up for Dark & Darker and I felt this take went so well and that the visuals of what I was doing was enough so I got lazy and didn't recreate the video. Hopefully next time I will remember.

Sadly, I was going off third hand knowledge on the smashing the wood bit, I tested it later and even with the smash perk the barbarian can not get through that and has to take the trapped way.

Ya, throwing that torch really helps with kitting their attacks. However, if you get chased in there next time and have the health for it, try to block the chasers on the first two spikes. Traps do massive damage and their only options would be to try and DPS you down or give up the chase.

Trap detection is fucking horrible. It only works if you're looking almost directly at the trap anyway, and from about 3 feet away, and only if you've stood still for a couple of seconds.

@@CrizzyEyes Not when i use it. It makes every trap I get even close to light up red light a christmas tree in the dark. You don't have to look at them at all.

Let me put it this way, if you're moving around carefully enough for trap detection to work, you should be able to see them with the naked eye. There's only a few different types of traps in this game. I'm visually impaired, by the way, so I struggle to imagine how sufficiently abled people can't see them.

That is 100% an option but I prefer taking Poisoned Weapons, Backstab, Stealth, and Lockpicks. So learning a way to do it with out spending a perk slot was nice and I thought I would share. Besides not all teams take rogue.

@@CrizzyEyes Seeing the traps isn't the main point of trap detection. Its the fact that it lets you permanently disable them.

That's definitely fair, but hell scares me as a solo rogue XD. I guess the next thing I need to learn is how to deal with hell mobs with out ranged weapons.

@@ninjabladeJr bruh shout out to my solo rogues doing their thang. Haven’t tried to do hell yet but when I see tanky enemies in the normal level I try to lead them out of their main room and close the door on them. Idk if that works in hell doe

Ya that was..... a big oof. Probably would have had that game if he didn't. Still he was probably confused and panicked.

I get that, but this strat works with out trusting anyone else and often I ambush thralls who come out of spirit walk expecting to have the camp to themselves. It also leaves you save from cannibal attacks and thrall attacks as the wolves will be stuck for a good few minutes, plenty of time to deal with the threats before the wolves join in. Prevents the old, they are fighting wolves lets make them fight all the things.

Yeah so if you have 1 mate that you trust that other strat works. Maybe its cool trying some OP thrall strats? Stashing nitro around the map and ambushing players with it is always fun.. #1: Throw all coal off ship if you find a bone knife on the ship at the start of the game and spirit walk away. #2: Captain strat: sail the ship into a broken wall on the right where you cant get it out since the ship doesn't reverse I think #3: Delay strat: delay the explorers as much as possible without using a single bone knife #4: Be the nitro carrier and delay, then throw it in the sea and spirit walk away. #5: Totem Spam from start of the game as the engineer and put them on Ice bergs #6: Royal Marine & Gunpowder Barrel musket strat: make sure you are one of the only people with a pickaxe, then craft a musket and camp. While you have the explorers distracted (they will gank you), have the other thrall blow up the ship / spirit walk to the ship and blow it up. #7 Nitro ambush strat: put nitro alongside the walls of the main passage from the nitro to the iceberg. If explorers come, shoot it and blow them up. If you can hide them behind items they won't notice and die. If they do notice, they are gonna have to shoot it or have to go around which delays (delaying is op and gets them desperate). #8 Captain delay strat: sail the ship and stay on the boat as a thrall, do everything you can to delay (sail slowly, throw coal out, ignite the thing yourself). Speaking in a funny accent works really well as the crewmen love that shit and do everything you say.

Ya, me and my friends havent played since Loba came out, but decided to do the anniversary event and get back into it. Since I came up with this strat the day before, we thought we might as well put it to the test.
