What can you say - she clearly is an intelligent woman who left her mark on the entertainment business; maybe when guys my age (in their sixties etc) are gone then she might be forgotten for awhile, but I got a feeling that even 200 years from now someone will be laughing at her portrayal of a tired 'whore' in Blazing Saddles, or as a touching 'floozy' in Paper Moon who is all too aware of her momentary beauty and what it can get her. RIP Madeline Kahn.

When I think of Madeline Kahn I think of Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, but I've totally forgotten about this movie - a touching scene in a way. When characters display honesty is when a movie touches you.

A wise old young child. The INfLECTION generated by the actors is astounding/ the Director a Master the scale, the cinematography, of course the use of black and white... I saw this when I was a child when it came out AND WAS COMPLETELY INFATUATED WITH Madeline Kahn!!!

I absolutely adored her as an actress, as a comic foil, for her beauty and the person she was. At around the time that she so sadly passed away, I was so full up in my own grief at losing my own beautiful Mum so young to cancer only a few months before that I never noticed her passing. It was only a few years later that I discovered that she had left us. Such a terrible loss to the world and so young. Xxx

Even when she flubbed her lines in Clue, she somehow managed to still make it amazing. They broke the mold with Madeline Kahn. Best comedic actress of all time.

Her husband John is a gem. There to the very end by her side. She was such a bright light in this world. Beautiful, and so funny! Didn't she meet John waiting for a cab,? Somewhere I read he too was waiting on on a cab. He was in a tux, and extented his elbow to say, "Are you ready"? Correct me if I'm wrong. Still trying to find where I read this. If true, John had mad Charisma that she immediately liked.

A extremely funny actress and extremely beautiful. (I always try not to mention if a woman is beautiful or not. Because looks are so seldom mentioned when we write about males. But I couldn’t help myself this time. Maybe because she often tried to look a bit uglier than she was in so many of her roles. )

The acting in Paper Moon was just extraordinary. Great, and I mean great, acting as we see here. The director got the best out of incredibly talented people. For me, Paper Moon is one of the best movies full stop.

Madelein Kahn - such a talented Comedic actress! Rare beauty. Loved her in High Anxiety and Blazing Saddles. Lily Tomlin is another! Women both ahead of their time. Saw this age 14 or 15 in a drive-in with parents. Most of the humor over my head then. Clear as day now. Love it when Tatum starts to crack a smile.
