Now a day orginal second hand vintage radio is available in online seller with good condition from 1500 onwards,so you can go with that originality sound and look,becoz if you connect bluethooth ,in market from rs 300 also you can get.

The bateries are removable ! If you buy rechargeble bateries, it is another story! Its just a simple radio with bluetooth

For those who wanted to know about the ShortWave stations currently on air please refer below:- BBC World Service is at SW 25m, 49m, 49m. From 3:30 Am to 7:30Am & 3:30PM to 7:30 PM. China Radio Internation english presentation: Beijing Hour is at SW 25m from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Selfie at around 41m band from 5:30Am to 6:00 Am. Studio+ is at 31m from 7:30AM to 8:30AM and 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Radio Thailand♧ is around 41m (English). NHK world News is at around 31m from about 7:30 in the morning and evening. Voice Of America (VOA) ♧ is at around 25m. Live New Studio is around SW 19m. Here they talk about bible and other religious aspects. ♧avialability subjected to your current location. AIR at 25m, 49m SW In calcutta, AIR is around 700Khz MW and AIR is around 600Khz MW. Keep listening to Shortwave. Keep Shortwave alive! Legend :- SW- Short Wave MW- Medium Wave

Add a very long wire of about 100ft. Anything below will work ofcourse. And attach the end to the telescopic antenna of the radio. You can also place the radio on the end of the wire. Just coil the other end of the wire and place it in the terrace. It should give you good reception.
