Best think we ever done was make a bud box. Our cattle used to be wild af and handling was always stressful. Now 2 years on I find most of my cows turn up the race before even going to the back of the bud box there that much happier

The one thing I've learned doing corrals is that half of the people who have a look will love it, and half will say "that'll never work!"

this is great! just getting into using either QGIS or GEP and testing ease of sharing for small water systems, and this answers a big question for GEP!

Is there a way to share one link with someone and they continue to see updates and newly added polygons, etc. without having to re share each component? Almost like a team drive concept.

you can do it if you use the online version. I think it does this by saving a file in google drive and multiple people can open it and edit it. You can open these files from the online version if you saved them as .kml files in the desktop version.

That's a terrible layout. I designed handling systems before mad cow that works many times better. I fact the first time cattle go through it, they go by themselves.

Do you have any tips for preventing the cattle from backing out of the alley before they enter the trailer? I know your walking patter helps with that. Also, do you have any tips to prevent cattle from coming back out the trailer and into the alley?
@jakeschubert82
@jakeschubert82 3 жыл бұрын
hey, sorry for the late response. I rarely check my youtube comments! The best way to prevent that is a "no back" gate (or sometimes called an anti-backing bar), which is kind of a flapper that falls down behind them as they walk forward. They're easy to walk forward under, but almost impossible to back thru.

Hey, I would be interested in finding out how to texture the model in 3dsmax and have the textures import into GE on the collada file? I can't seem to get it to work. Thanks for the video.

Great where can I buy such a Diesel with 2 stroke non electric starter? We need such an engine for a industrial vacuum machine? How many HP? Do you have specs and prices?
@jakeschubert82
@jakeschubert82 8 жыл бұрын
+Haffschlappe I don!t look back at these videos very much!!! I was working at a ranch in Kazakhstan when I took this. The pump was put together in Uzbekistan but the engine was a Russian made one. 6 cylinder non turbo. It had a gasoline fueled pony engine for starting. The engine running in the background was just a small pump for priming the main pump before starting. We got it started but had to shut down right away because they were pumping a whole bunch of fish thru because they had taken the screen off for some reason!!! I think the engine was about 120 hp at 100% duty cycle, but I can't fine the old pics I had that had the specs on it. Next time I make it down there I'll look. They are reliable engines really, we had 2 of them at this site.
