Why does anybody that sold these not want to talk about it.. what happened ?
@Neighbour_AlАй бұрын
They are not well made (poor governor design, voltage regulation), well documented (engine and generator), well designed (Mine did not have an access hatch for performing valve adjusts), or well supported. They are good for running incandescent lighting at best. They appear to have been good for making a quick buck. Diesel engines need a solid load to avoid "Wet stacking" and low loads kill them. I relied on my past experience to keep mine alive until I could replace it with a gasoline fueled generator. I would never recommend a high speed diesel generator again. Diesel is great for prime power (low speed/clean load) generators. Too much information? TMI

@Neighbour_Al yes mine doesn't have a hatch to adjust valves.. such a basic thing.. is real pain to adjust.. I just don't understand what goes on in manufacturers' minds sometimes.. I run an aiconditioner so at least I have enough load on mine

Your video was very helpful, my generator was running way too fast and putting out way too high of voltage 140 on the 120 side 300 on the 240 side. Now it's working correctly.

Are there any steps needed to make this thing a leaf blower? Does the fan need to be removed? I cannot find anything in the manual but the current tip that the sprayer comes with seems like it would be a poor leaf blower
@Neighbour_Al3 ай бұрын
I've never tried to use it as a leaf blower. That said, I'd remove the last section of the discharge tube/hose and be sure to have the tank closed firmly. Removing the tip removes that obstruction so you might get more air velocity that way. Good luck!

Is there a reason you have your irrigation lines above the ground?
@Neighbour_Al3 ай бұрын
Yes! Roots would clog the emitters if they were below grade. The irrigation manifold (main pipes) is below the frost line, and each row has a rise with a valve that's connected to the drip line. FYI: I used compressed air to get water out of the system for winter prep. Water freezing in valves or emitters destroys them.

Hi, just bought a small orchard and was wondering if this is still what you use to spray your trees and its adequate. I have about 300 apple trees. How often do you have to fill it up and is it decently fast to get coverage?
@Neighbour_Al3 ай бұрын
You would have to refill often and have a loader (someone to fill it while you wore it). I use it for spot applications either on a single variety, or when targeting a specific pest. I use a tractor mounted sprayer for my cover sprays.
@ericnolet91613 ай бұрын
Ok thank you. Also, for at the bottom of the trees what herbicide do you recommend? Have you ever tried multch?

Hi, Do you know why your KZbin channel video views are not increasing? And do not reach people? The reasons I have found are: 1. Not using the correct video title 2. Do not use meta tags & description 3. Your videos are not SEO properly 4. Your video is not reaching the right people 5. Not using video hashtags properly 6. Not sharing the video on social media Some videos have good SEO quality, but most have very normal SEO quality. It is possible to make videos viral if video SEO is done properly.All video content and thumbnails are awesome. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I will cooperate with you in all kinds. I am waiting for your reply,,,,,

My videos are shared on Twitter, a private FB cider group, my farm dedicated FB channel, and Tumbler website. I don't tag them because KZbin states that the tags are effectively useless. I'm happy with my audience. So, are you a cider maker?

Hi I built fencing for about 5 years and I have used those duck bill anchors for different applications but if you drive a post you drive the small end of the post in the ground if you handset a post you put the big end of the post in the ground if you would have done that it might not have pulled out and we never packed with gravel that's just for water drainage you probably should have had a end brace behind the gate is that post was just like a latch post should have hung the gate off the side with the brace over a short amount of time the duckbill will actually pivot up and go horizontal that is what holds the pressure holds the pressure

I bought the model 868 and describes it as a fogger, mister, duster. No instructions on how to use it as a fogger. Any details?
@Neighbour_Al6 ай бұрын
There is a valve on the volute (nozzle) that control the fluid flow. Increasing the flow changes the discharge from a mist to a fog. It's really semantics at best.

I was looking for a way to add a bypass to my new Delavan 2GPM pump because it cycles like a machine gun. Man I got so excited watching your video that the second I saw you adding a bypass to your drain that I stopped watching and started piecing everything together. Running to the hardware store, back a forth to my shop. Then after a few hours and finally trying it out with great expectations what i got was my cycling problem solved but at the sacrifice of about 1GPM and a pump that doesn’t shut off while resting because it’s constantly feeding the tank with the bypass. I only used a two way hose Y not a regulator though. , Any thoughts. Thanks
@Neighbour_Al7 ай бұрын
I can't think of a solution for you. A bypass regulator is going to make your pump run continuously AND use some of the flow for it's operation. In a home you would have a volume tank to absorb some of the volume to give you steady pressure, but I can't think of an economical way for you to do this with a small sprayer. Sorry.

Here's what I do...if you are right handed, put a surgical glove on your left hand and put a glob in the palm and warm it up. Once it is softened up, using a popsicle stick in my right hand, I dab it on the tree. Throw away the glove and stick when done--everything stays pretty clean.
