Only the 4oz size of our cleaner is concentrated and requires dilution. Is that the size that you used?

Thanks for your question. The most important thing is to ensure that the leather conditioner is applied evenly across the leather. Both using a lint free cloth and using your hands can achieve an even application. Many people choose to use their hands because it warms up the product a little bit which reduces the viscosity of the conditioner and makes it a little easier to apply. The most important thing is to not pour the leather conditioner directly on the leather because that can cause oversaturation in some areas which can make the color of the leather uneven. @leatherhoney3094 oh great, I will get the cleaner to use for the patent leather as it is red with some white. The white may be discolored some. I'm not sure if it will correct any discoloring but I will give it a shot. I did not see a shine on my bag from the conditioner. My bag drank it all up by am. Hi! You just want to lightly saturate the cloth with our leather cleaner. It depends on how dirty your couch is but you want to err on the side of using as little of the product as possible as you don't want to over saturate the leather. Thanks for your business!

Thanks for your purchase. Our formula is proprietary, which is why we don't share the ingredients widely. The product should not be diluted, as it is intended to be used full-strength - the rich, viscous formula is why it works so well. However, it shouldn't be difficult to apply - you can thin the product by ensuring it is warm (feel free to put it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time, or leave it near a heat source for a bit). We also recommend applying to a cloth and wiping onto the leather, versus applying to the leather directly. I hope that helps, but definitely let us know if you need additional suggestions. And be sure to spot test first - often when customers find it is too thick to apply, it actually isn't absorbing into the leather, because it isn't genuine leather or the leather is coated with polyurethane. Hi - it depends on the microwave and how much of the product that you're putting in the microwave but usually 20-30 seconds is enough. You just want to get it hot enough that it becomes thinner and easier to spread but not too hot that it burns your skin! Thanks!

Hi - depending on the age, quality and/or type of leather as well as the humidity level that the leather is stored, it is very possible that the leather could need multiple applications of our leather conditioner. Darker areas can be caused by 1) the conditioner bringing out the original color of the leather which was darker there to begin with 2) the leather in that are was more porous and thus absorbed more of the conditioner or 3) too much conditioner was applied in that area. Regardless of the cause - it's no reason for alarm. The area will lighten up over time as the conditioner is fully absorbed and spreads evenly throughout the leather. Thank you for your reply. Because the product is so thick, it was difficult to distribute evenly and caused over saturation in quite a few spots. It has been over 48hrs and the stains remain. My furniture is “ unprotected” leather and this product was advertised as safe for that. You’re certain the stains will go away over time?

However, our cleaner can be used on vinyl, plastics, rubber etc and essentially all car interior as a protectant. 2). The conditioner does not contain any added uv protection. If so, yes you can mix the entire bottle of concentrated cleaner with water and it will remain effective. You may need to shake it up again depending on how long it sits.
