If you listen without looking, no one should expect this to be a Young Orchestra, Jugendsinfonieorchester. Their playing is 100% professional, one of the best interpretations I ever heard. And this 7:th is in itself a marvel. Bruckner must have had a good time in his life, composing this music. Thank you all young people!

Fascinating. I've never heard this song performed by a male singer. Gerhaher is, as always, a magnificent singer. I hope this video turns out to be just one small piece of a larger concert we'll be able to see. Best wishes from Vermont 🍁🧡🍁

60 years ago, in 1964 I served in Korea, a very poor nation at that time, but the people had talent and drive and an indomitable will to succeed , Y. E. Son demonstrates this with her outstanding rendition of a very complex Beethoven Piano 'Concerto #4. Bravo, Ms Son, Bravo Korea!

The violins sound a bit flat. Serenade much better under Solti or Ozawa. This performance sounds lifeless. Shame.

Gosh, I seem to be commenting a lot on this, but God bless Andrew Manze, He loves, |I mean really love the pieces He conducts. I Britain we have for centuries played and fallen in love with the works of German composers. And now we get to send some of that brilliance back. It's so nice to see a German audience so appreciative.

Brilliant video direction and editing! The director clearly knows Elgar's score: he's right there for every solo in the symphony, and there are more in this symphony than in most orchestral works. Many thanks to the performers and to NDR Klassik!
