These are called Kaizo Mario games, which are fan-made hacks of the original Super Mario World. They're much harder than the original game, designed to test advanced skills and creativity.

Just started this game today after seeing this video. Im pretty new to kaizo and this seems like its just challenging enough for newbies without being really difficult and discouraging the player. there hasnt really been a spot where im just like "wtf? I'll never be able to do that." Or "wtf? What do i even do at this point." Got a sub and a like from me homie

It took me so long to get the hang of sliding and long jumping after the slide. I kept trying to press right in the air but then realized you go further when you dont press a direction and just jump. The only thing thats given me more trouble is timing shell jumps that you have to throw at a wall. Still trying to get those down, i only get them right like 1 out of 10 times lol

Sliding and long jumping can definitely take a while to master, but once you get the hang of letting go in mid-air, it feels so satisfying! Shell jumps are definitely one of those Kaizo tricks that takes time to click-keep at it though! 1 out of 10 will soon turn into 9 out of 10 with enough practice.
