The correct answer for question 13 is no doubt option 4. SOLUTION: Horizontally the patterns goes as following: When going from the first column to the second, radius1 rotates 180°, and radius2 rotates 90° (both clockwise). When going from the second column to the last, radius1 rotates 270° and radius2 rotates 180° (both clockwise). Looking vertically one radius keeps its position across the entire column, while the other radius rotates 180° clockwise and then 270°. Both patterns shows that the correct answer is option 4. The pattern of rotation for each step when looking horizontally is: radius1: 180°→270° and radius2: 90°→180° When looking vertically the steps of rotation for the radiuses are: Radius1: Constant→Constant and Radius2: 180°→270°

Hi! No Question 8 (4:21) - At the end of each row, the 2 top cubes will get their horisontal lines - At the and of each column, the 2 left cubes will have their vertical lines removed. The top left cube will lose all lines, and the bottom right will be unchanged. The top right will be with vertical lines and the bottom left with horisontal lines
Svaret på fråga 4 är 3. Om linjerna överlappar så tar de ut varandra. Fyrkanten kommer försvinna men resten av linjerna kvarstår, dvs cirkel och linje.

Let me know if this explaination is good enough Question 16 (10:29) - the first 2 squares in each row are combined to create the final image. All dots are added in the same position. - if there are 2 dots of the same color opposite of eachother then they will cancel eachother and both will disappear. When combining square 1 and 2 in row 3. - The top left white dot in square 1 will cancel out the white dot below it in square 2. - the 2 black dots in square 1 will both end up infront of the 2 black dots in the middle and top right (in square 2), and they will cancel out. The only ones not cancelling out is the top left black dot, and the bottom middle white dot in square 2. The resulting square should have 1 top left black dot and 1 bottom middle white dot. *--> Answer 5*

My gut says the same thing but I think you are right again, 2 *should* be the correct answer. I will write my reasoning below and pro&cons of both answers. I will fix it, and go through all the videos and change the answer of this question. Until we find something more convincing lets go with your gut that the answer should be 2. Question 12 (05:00) ↑ ← → ↓ → ↑ → ↑ ? -Each row and column has a pair of arrows pointing in opposite directions. The remaining triangle has to point down. ---> *2, 6 are our only possible answers* Now there are two possible answers. 1) I guessed answer 6 simply because there are no cases in this question with 3 lines. 2) One could argue for answer 2 because - no row has the same figure throughout. - The triangles that are opposite eachother in the columns and rows are always different figures. Maybe your answer is the better way of thinking about it.

I need to challenge you on Question 14 here on answer #6, I believe it might be #5. My logic is extremely similar in your logic used for Q11 on Test number 4 - the one with shapes and transparent lines. Namely: - When moving (within a row) from box 1 to box 2 the entire shape rotates 45 degrees clockwise. Then from box 2 to box 3 it rotates again. - the thick dark black line always disappears with a rotation - the 'empty' or 'transparent' line always converts into a thick black line after a rotation. This logic seems to apply both when locking at the boxes across ROWS and COLUMNs Thoughts?

For Q27, I'm wondering if the answer isnt #4 instead. Its definitely EITHER #2 or #4 due to the logic of: 1) column 1 and 3 having the same number of half moons 2) column 1 having 1 less shaded moon than column 2 3) the dot in the middle alternating between rows/columns to be there But it feels like Column 3 is almost a Y-axis mirroring of column 1, in which case answer #4 would be correct. The challenge is that all of this almost all ignores column 2... 😛
@capybarapens8 күн бұрын
I answered this in another video, I will see if i can find it. This question is badly made lol but its 100% like this. Essentially this question appears with 2 opposite logical rules, and there is a total of 3 questions of these. I will link them all later. Form 1) *this question* - Alternating dots each row - After a dot is added -> a black half moon is added - After a dot is removed -> a white half moon is removed - The squares also rotates after each step but you can easily ignore the rotation since the two rules above will give away the real answer. Form 2) - After a dot is added -> a white half moon is added - After a dot is removed -> a black half moon is removed - The square rotates each step

Lol i love you too much bro, u r awesome. Its great because i get to think twice and see if i did wrong or not. I am writing on my phone so the text below will look bad but I will edit it later when im out of bed. I will go through my whole reasoning below so you can spot if I have done anything wrong so please excuse my wall of text. Question 22 (11:42) *A common mistake is to think that each square rotates diagonally 45 degrees. If that was correct then 6 would be correct. However the symbol with 1 square and 1 quarter circle does not rotate 45 degrees diagonally.* *it might be much easiee to just think of where the square is rotated / moved. There should only be 4 rotations possible for that square* So this is the most likely answer - The square can have 4 positions. - in each row we rotate 45 degrees each time and the square will jump to the right. We will follow the position of the square in the past rows to "cheat" and not have to imagine the rotation. Positions of the square are as such: Row 1) 4 -> 1 -> 2 Row 2) 2 -> 3 -> 4 Row 3) 4 -> 1 -> 2 We can see that the correct rotation for a half circle with a square in position 2 would be the one in row 2[square 1]. Combined with black white black color on the square. The answer should be 5
@Breakfastcruiser8528 күн бұрын
@@capybarapens haha hopefully I'm only tackling the tougher ones 😛 And appreciate the sparring too! Thanks - so in the end its the square (white vs black and the location of it from spot 1-4) that determines basically everything. My struggle is that hypothetically, if you had a case where there was an answer where there was a black square in position 2, but with the half moon on top of it (say in positions 4 and 1) then couldnt you also argue that would be correct...? The logic for that would be something along the lines of "No combination is repeated everywhere so it must be this unique one" 😛
@Breakfastcruiser8528 күн бұрын
So on Question 8, there are two possible answers: 1) Answer 4 like you have, this is based on the logic that every row has one grey, one black, and one white, and same for every column. It also assumes there is no relevance to either rectangle being on top/bottom. 2) Answer 6, if we assume diagonal logic is allowed. this would assume that when you look from top right to bottom left (starting from the left corner) that the diagonals are all the same. Then one can assume the next pattern would be the inverse of the second diagonal (horizontal rectangle being white and verticle rectangle being black) which would place say that it should be a horizontal black rectangle and a vertical white rectangle). I believe Answer 4 also makes sense, but can we then conclude that 'diagonal logic' isnt really something used in Matrigma? Because both could make sense.
@capybarapens8 күн бұрын
Great questions!!! I don't know why I have become the pope of Matrigma but I will try my best! (The answer to your actual question is last). If you would like then you can email me at [email protected], and I can help you even if i disappear from youtube (due to copyright or inactivity since I have a full-time job lol) Firstly, I will explain the question about diagonal logic some other time but in these matrigms tests made by the company, it seems that they rarely use that type of logic. Other companies use diagonal logic all the time so it really is on a company per company basis. Diagonal logic is used in matrigma but depends on the test and who made it. Different tests from different creators range from super easy to insanely difficult (with some questions being too open-ended). It seems almost all questions on the tests created by the company Assessio, they use either row logic, column logic, or both. The diagonal logic seems to just try to trick you on some questions. On some poorly made questions ( the triangle with dots and lines) they seem to even use a holistic approach lol. However 99% of the questions use the same matrigma logic concepts as all matrigma tests. They are found below in no particular order 1) Color change 2) Number change 3) Number of Shapes 4) Combination of cells (subtract/addition of things that overlap) 5) Rotation and movement 6) Folding, and symmetry 7) Flipping/mirroring Regarding Question 8, you are 100% correct. I will think about it and look in the old raven matrices books from 1950 that these questions were copied from to see if we are overthinking it or not. I have the *EXACT* same feeling as you, but I can't shake the feeling that we are overthinking it. My gut says 6 but my heart says 4. If it is 6 then we would break the row logic, and the whole question goes out the window.

I am quite certain that the answer should be 2 (you can find my reasoning below). Question 20 (8:27) - We have 4 triangles with just a single dot - We have 3 triangles with two lines -We only have 1 triangle with three lines and one dot That means the missing piece should be a triangle with three lines and one dot to continue the sequence of 4-3-2 We choose option 2 instead of option 6, because within each column the triangle is in a different orientation. so since column three already has a triangle thats facing down, we cant choose option 6 as it is also facing downwards, we can only take option 2 that is facing upwards and thus making the 3rd column: Down, Right, Up So the main clues here were 1) the second row all facing to the right showing no significance in shape orientation for rows, leading us to believe that there could be significance in orientation for each column and 2) having that outlier triangle (3 lines 1 dot) and a disproportional ratio of 4 Dotted Triangles vs 1 three lined Triangle

Below is my reasoning for how I solved the problem. Question 8 (4:20) - Every row will have 3 triangles of 1 color, and 2 of the other colors. In this question, the color with 3 triangles will be different each row. The position of the 3 triangles of 1 color are always the same. row 1) 3 gray, 2 white, 2 black, 2 striped row 2) 2 gray, 3 white, 2 black, 2 striped row 3) 2 gray, 1 white, 2 black, 2 striped We can see that from the position of the 3 triangles of 1 color on row 3 that we should have 3 striped, and 2 of the rest. The last triangle needs to have 1 striped, 1 white, and 1 gray for this condition to be fulfilled. (Please remember that we can observe that in each row, the same color always occupies different triangles, which excludes the solution 3) *---> The solutions is 1*

These comments would get lost if I re-upload.

Its annoying that my "gut feeling" is actually correct but then I see the kind in the screen grab press the error which ends up me second guessing my choice....

@@capybarapens Thanks looking forward to it. I am also thinking if it is a test that you are 100% certain in and very confident in a voice over/caption based version where you actually explain your reasoning might help more novice users. As I see a gap here between explanation/introduction videos and this more "clean style" walkthrough. What is the source site to the Matrigma tests are they free, (looks Swedish)

Question 13 (07:11) In each row, the third image is a combination of the two previous images. - If two identical lines ones meet (dash or dots), both cancel each other out - stroke meets dots becomes stroke, if stroke or dots meet nothing, it becomes stroke or dots.

@@capybarapens thanks so much, Ill study the explanation when I get home. Needed to take a break. But im planning to take the real test from the interview, tonight. So thanks so much for fast replies 😮🥰 I live in Norway, and its a banking position.. Jeg ser du har mange videoer, kunne du sende meg en link som du mener jeg burde øve til? Cuz I see that the level of difficulty on several tasks are too high and Im running a little bit out of time, so would be great if you maybe sent me what you think is most accurate ? I have no idea what kind of matrigma ill get but it is from Assessio - followed by personality test right after! Aand maybe also a hand of tips that I can apply, on the x many variaties of tasks are there

@@sophianouri7664 Good luck, and I hope you get a good score and get the interview. I put these videos for you guys so you don't have to waste time learning how to do these awful tests 😆! Each test uses the same questions so many of the questions you get will be the same as mine. Watch a few of my videos and you will get max score (above average). Just figure out if the test is normal or Ascend, and then check the videos for that test. (You can see what type of test it is even before starting by checking the practice question --> if the timer/background is blue then it is *normal*) Assessio has 2 types of matrigma tests 1) Normal (blue timer, blue left side background) --> Test randomizes questions from the same selection consisting of ~100 questions. These questions are newer, and more difficult. There are a few new questions but 95% of the questions are identical to the tests I took. If you have this test then check my playlist with 6 videos of these tests. 2) Ascend (white background) --> Same as above but the questions are from a different selection consisting of ~150 older questions.

@@capybarapens God bless you , thank you so much <3 I´ve already got the 2 interview so we shall go through the results from the tests on that day. Ive checked the email, it is Ascend - white banner! So which videos you suggest I prioritize?? I dont know If I get the 35 min og the 12 min version , afraid to click on the link that it will get started :P Question 2: What kind of questions are on Assessio personality test ? cuz I have to take that too. If my job is about anti-svindel as well as customer service - and the question "I don´t trust people" - where on the agree scale should I be? Any other tips for that test?

Hi! Q16, is the correct answer not 1? And please help me with Q15... 🙂

Thank you for pointing that out, I think you might be right. I will fix it! 🧡 Question 15 (9:50) - There are 3 shapes (thin lines, block lines, and squiggly lines), and 3 numbers of each shape (1, 2, 3) - Each square consists of [1 to 3] identical vertical shapes and identical [1 - 3] horisontal shapes. - Each row must have 2 of each shape, 1 horisontal and 1 vertical. - Each row must have 2 of each number, 1 horisontal and 1 vertical. row 3[Square 1] = 2 block lines horisontal + 3 squiggly lines vertical row 3[Square 2] = 3 thin lines horisontal + 2 block lines vertical So row 3[Square 3] must have 1 squiggly line horisontal, and 1 thin line vertical ---> *The answer is 5*

Hi! I have a hard time with question 13.. can anyone please explain?
@capybarapens2 ай бұрын
Question 13 (05:43) - One clockhand moves 180 degrees from square 1 -> 2, and then 90 degrees from square 2 ->3 . (one way) - The second clockhand moves 90 degrees from square 1 -> 2, and then 180 degrees from square 2 ->3 ; (in the opposite direction to the other hand) * A tip is that you can figure out which direction which pointer should move by the fact that there is only one right way to go from square 1 to square 2 (If you move a clockhand in the wrong direction, it will not look as it should in square 2)

@@capybarapens Interesting, another way to solve it is: for every row, col 1 + col 2 = col 3, where col 2 is the angle of rotation. Meaning (1, 1) + 360 degrees rotation, (2, 1) + 180 degrees, and, (3, 1) + 90 degrees rotation (clockwise or counter clockwise).

@@Didierkong-ox9bv Thank you for commenting, and for the brain teaser. Keep commenting, continue posting ideas, and keep helping people . You are doing something great for the community, thank you so much! ❤❤❤ (If you have any ideas about future tests or videos then feel free to tell me) Regarding what you wrote, the correct solution/way of thinking *should* be the one I stated before. I will find all clock problems in assessios matrigma and test your hypothesis/idea on all of them. If it turns out to be true then that could be much faster way to solve these clock questions without thinking so much ❤

@@capybarapens Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! I do however NOT agree with your statement that there's "a correct way of thinking", there are severeal ways of solving a problem, some which are more effective than others - The explanation that makes the fewest assumptions is often the most efficient. If we follow your reasoning to the problem: We have two "clock hands", let's call the bottom hand X and the other hand Y for simplicity's sake. Starting from the first figure in (1, 1) going to the the second figure (1, 2) we have X: 180°CWr and Y=90°CWr. This relationship can be observed across the entire column,. When going from col 2 to col 3 in the first row, it can be assumed that either one of the hands rotate 180°CCW and 90°CCW respectively. It's not possible to tell which one of the hands corresponding to the rotations in question. In row 2, following the assumption that the hands rotate 180° and 90° CCW when going from col 2 to col 3, then X has to rotate 90°CCW and Y rotates 180° CCW, if we assume that this is the genereal pattern for which the hands rotate, then we end up with a figure in (3, 3) corresponding to option 4 and not option 5. Since the hands follow the same rotational pattern when going from col 1 to col 2 we would assume the they also follow the same rotational pattern when going from col 2 to col 3 (as the one described above). So following your reasoning the correct option would be 4 and not 5.
