It's a great little start. Don't let any nay-sayers try to dis-hearten any interest you may have in starting this as a new hobby. Like " Eww, cheap plastic. etc etc". Even great painters started with finger painting like the rest of us as children. Start cheap, start simple, then if you feel like you wanna do more, then do more of whatever aspect of it makes you the happiest. Maybe realistic painting, or fancier track, or something that has nothing to do with the train directly. Like Make some buildings for a villiage and put little people in it to make it feel alive. Others like the garden part more and use a train to help show off their plants. If it turns into somthing you like, then I hope you share your progress with the rest of us.
