Billy did seem willing to listen to Sir Topham Hatt which makes sense since he’s the actual one in charge so I think he has issues with being told what to do by other engines and other non authority figures but I think after a while he’d know to listen to the likes of Edward Toby BoCo Salty Hiro Skarloey Rheneas Duke and Victor as they know what to do as well as learning to listen to others if they’re trying to give reasonable advice to help him but he wouldn’t want to be bossed around by not only Fergus but also Gordon James Henry and Sir Handel (going by their original personas) Duck Emily (going by her HIT era persona) Spencer Diesel ‘Arry and Bert as well as D261 Spamcan and Old Stuck Up if they returned on visit and he’d definitely hate Frankie if they met, can imagine he’d find his brother Charlie annoying who just wants to distract everyone from their work while he actually wants to try his best. Maybe he’d relate to Duncan at some level.

At least Fergus wasn’t the one showing Billy around, then he would’ve had someone telling him what to do in an actual bossy annoying way

I also miss Billy, he was replaced by Charlie
