Ditto BuiltByChris comment about the joy of seeing your video this morning. My survival technique is to limit myself to how much news (doom and gloom as I call it) I expose myself to. Part way through, the news, my wife or I will say “have we had enough”. Anyhow, it’s lovely to see you in your work shop.

Fantastic job Ainslie. I was thinking of doing this style of outfeed table as I have the same saw and faced with the same challenges. I thought it was just me but it seems many of us are struggling with keeping up the positive focus and finding the motivation to be up and doing. This little project might be just what I need. Hang in there and look forward to your next well crafted video, thank you😍

Motivation is definitely hard to find at the moment Ainslee, but I think you may have broken winter's hold! (-3 here in Victoria last night) That's a great solution to make more space and a lovely build, now I want to see the video where you create more storage space for all the stuff stored in your old bench. 😊

Thanks Mandy. The struggle is real at the moment but pushing through knowing it will come back. Once I pushed myself to get in the shop I instantly felt better for it. Lots more to do but it the project start I needed. Stay warm and thanks for stopping by😀

How good is it, waking up and seeing a video from you. I know the feeling you’re going through, my mojo is at an all time low. Feeling a little overwhelmed at times. But, I’m working through it. Can’t wait to see you all again at MM24. ❤️❤️ Great project, by the way. 👍

I noticed that in your video at 8:54 that it shows a chart for the differenct settings on the sprayer. Looking at the first column for Latex paints, using the Detail Finish Nozzle it says N/A.....I'm not sure what that means?? That seems odd. Any thoughts on why they don't give values?
@SmallFryCreations
@SmallFryCreations 12 күн бұрын
N/A means you shouldn't use that type of paint with that type of spray head. I wouldn't recommend using oil paints as cleaning will be a nightmare and very hard to do. I would stick with water base. Hope this helps.

Hi! Great review, thanks for sharing. I'm considering buying a Sculpfun S9, but I'm concerned about its long-term durability. Since your video was made a while ago, could you please share your experience regarding its performance over time? Has it held up well, and have you encountered any significant issues? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey I used the last for about 12 months and only changes as I help Sculpfun with testing and reviewing so moved to the next laser. Providing you are keeping up the maintenance and keeping the laser is good clean working order it should last a fair while.

How do you choose the furniture you're going to refurbish? Do you always visit before committing? What do you look for in a set of drawers or a coffee table or a bookshelf for example?

Hey Great question. I generally scroll Facebook Marketplace and look for something and sparks an idea of what I could turn it into. I will then look at the pictures and get a sense of the quality. I'm just looking for not huge damage that is going to take to long to repair. With the doors with the glass I perfer doors where the glass can be removed. This makes painting make better and creates a better finish. Not always the easier to find but that is one question I will ask. Hope that helps.

I think this is the first instructional video for a Wagner Paint sprayer I have seen where there is actually a bit of paint on the sprayer before you started!! Gives me confidence you might have actually used the sprayer before and we are not just hearing a sales pitch. Great video. Thanks for making it. I am getting ready to paint my son's room using the same model of sprayer so I was keen to see how not to mess it up!

Its a hobby grade thing. Don't buy it for any business purposes.(Don't buy this trash even for hobby, Id say). 1. As you can see, it lacks any sort of holds or rulers on its table that could help you place your item correctly for reproduceable results. You can't even turn laser on to help you aim. It can only briefly show you the box it will target. 2. Only the basic app is free. Their normal software will cost you 60$ more. 3. The construction is flimsy, the plastic table(the base) is not even. Inserting the protective screen for every burn is annoying and it also pushes the device up, making table to move and to rise even more in the front. 4. Hard to explain, but the laser burn is not even, when it does long passes compared to short ones(or maybe it's power is not automatically adjusted). It visibly burns material stronger on short passes In summary: only buy it as a toy for your kid(if you trust him not to ruin burn his eyes)

Not really sure why you would go through the effort of drilling the corners and using a jig saw if you're going to rout it anyways. Use the router to cut out the window, if you're scared then leave a small tab on each side and cut that with the jig saw.
@SmallFryCreations
@SmallFryCreations Ай бұрын
Removing the bulk of the waste with the jigsaw means the routers doesn't work as hard when using the templating bit. It makes for a better finish cut I think
